  • how did you hook all that up. could i hook my koasilator up to my akai mpk61?

  • @nanzioboy everything is plugged into a small behringer mixer. kaossilator has no midi port, so unfortunately you can't hook it up to your akai mpk61.

  • This is one with no need for a bassline lol! gots all it needs! very ambi-trance and like the drums all the way thru like that. good stuff!

  • @LatigidGolana thanks man! it's pretty "epic"

  • @KidKulit uh yeah...Its epic cause your awesome :)

  • You are amazing! I love this song! :-)

  • @avelinoherrera wow thanks man... I really appreciate that :) glad you liked it

  • @eStefresco thanks man. I have a really basic set up and this was recorded late at night with headphones on. It's not perfect, but thanks for the constructive criticism.

  • Wow awesome stuff! ;)

    Did u rite this?

  • @Chirozeplin hey thanks! yes, this is one of my own tunes :) I'm glad you enjoyed it... feel free to check out my other ones!

  • very good man . I like the use u to the kaossilator . Keep playing man . Ur sound rules

  • @martinsantismartin thanks man. glad you enjoyed it

  • this is really good!

  • @retrosf thanks man :) glad you enjoyed it

  • all i can say is...UR A FUCKIN GENIUS!!

  • @dhyazzperr haha thanks man :)

  • your obv left handed lol???

  • haha unfortunately no. my computer just records everything in mirrored mode so it appears backwards. I am right handed.

  • Nice video man!!

  • thanks man!

  • was the piano on the juno a preset?

  • yes it was, but I can't remember which patch I used... and I'm pretty certain I tweaked it slightly (ie. jacked up the reverb and adjusted cutoff\resonance)

  • ok thanks, it sounds good :)

  • thanks!

  • cool stuff, do you know if it is possible to run the keyboards through the kaossilator to make different sounds for the keyboard?

  • Unfortunately, you cannot run anything into or through the Kaossilator. It is a simple stand-alone handheld synthesizer... output only.

  • man, the jp sounds sick!!!

  • yeah doesn't it?! I recently unboxed my JP-8000 again (after having moved in the summer) and I haven't been able to stop playing with it since... sounds so lush... great synth

  • so simple but so beautiful

really took me to another planet

and i'm not even high....... nice job my friend

  • wow what a compliment! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm high on life... and music! ;) thanks so much for the kind words.

  • Agreed. Was really good. I get high off of life& music, and in some cases, drunk off of power :P

  • haha... amazing

  • ahh. yeah such a nice piano sound..

    it's dreamy..

mm gunna have to set this kinda thing up. use my roland sh-09 in there aswell

  • SH-09 is a sick board! I'm interested in picking up an RS-09 as well for some sweet pads.

  • yeah you know man, reppin' 1979!

  • Nice.. bit of distortion but nice.... : )

  • hey thanks! the distortion is actually intentional. that's what that particular kaossilator patch sounds like :) i just liked how it sounded juxtaposed to the clean\dreamy piano lead\pad

  • great my friend

  • thanks!

  • YW!

  • I really enjoyed that,man.

Very nice piece of work especially considering you played it all live.

Would be interesting to hear it once it was recorded into a DAW like ableton live or cubase etc and carefully edited with drum/percussion changes and a bassline.

Sounds great as is though,I'm thinking you could make a great progressive house tune out of this.

    Keep up the good work.

    Peace

  • Wow I'm glad you enjoyed it! And fantastic feedback too, thanks so much for your notes. Truly appreciated. I recorded this on iSight on the fly for fun. But now I may consider fleshing it out in Logic. I love a good house tune ;)

  • Yeah no worries man.I personally think you could defo make a nice chilled out progressive house tune out of it or a really make use of the melody and make a trance track out of it.Very nice melody, just add a four to the floor kick and a simple bass but groovy bassline and build it,maybe put a nice breakdown at around 129 bar for around 32 bars and add more sounds playing the same melody to make it bigger and then lift off with bass and drums. These are just thoughts.I love it as it is though.:-)

  • would you like some organic piano sound :)?

it's in my page arpquadra :D

  • Very good performance there KidKulit. The JP-8000 is still one of the warmest and most fun synths nowdays.

  • Thanks for the kind words, Absyntherklaas! I love my JP-8000. Many times I've debated selling it, but I just can't bring myself to let it go.

  • You prolly regret selling it and I tell you why.... :) 1. great hands-on controllers that keep you intrested 2. retro wannahave machine used by loads of artists 2. for the amount of cash it isn't just worth selling it. 3. great VA sounds for any type of music. 4. an excellent 4 octave keyboard. 5. collectors item if it is in good shape Really. I sold my JP8080 2 years ago and I'm very .. very glad I bought a cheap mint conditioned JP8000 a week ago again. Anyway keep up the lovely freestyling.

  • you are i front of a mirror

  • no... my iSight + Photobooth records this way... and I haven't figured out how to flip it around yet... any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • how would he record if he was in front of a mirror?!!?

  • That was just sick as all hell...

    very nice dude.

  • wow thanks so much! glad you dig it

  • WELL DONE MAN!! that`s really sick ;) 5+

  • hey thanks! :)
