I mean if the government doesn't subsidize oil companies than it is more expensive for oil companies to make their product as they have to put more money into their factors of production thus increasing the price of oil.

There needs to be a national discussion about the individual tax rate as it pertains to job creation and brain drain. Republicans claim that it influences jobs, but history is not on their side. What influences jobs the most: tax breaks or demand? It is obviously demand, so when the top 5% has 63% of the nation's wealth, the consumer class does not have much wealth, thus demand decreases. Once wealth is more equally distributed, then demand will increase.

First: This vanishing of big companies is an old and profound issue. They will just go elsewhere. Actually I think you can't do anything against it. Second: How do you want to solve this problem. It's routed in the dillemma, that people in mighty positions are looking for other coherences, f.e. other big leaders and therefore not caring bout the poorer people. Further the 'normal' people don't seem to be able to cut their own urges by themselves to save society. But without that...

That entire time Warren Buffet negated any upcoming recession due to the artificially low interest rates by the fed.
In 2008, Buffet finally changed his tune after years of telling anyone who thought a recession was imminent, they were crazy.

In the years leading up to the great recession, he was on TV continuously telling people the economy has never been stronger, and that people should continue investing in financials. His company (Moodys) rated the sub prime loans AAA. He suggested real estate was the best investment to make at the time. In early 08 he changed his mind. By then it was too late.

I'm not really pro-republican but by subsidizing the oil companies doesn't that keep the oil/gas prices relatively low? I mean if the government doesn't subsidize oil companies than it is more expensive for oil companies to make their product as they have to put more money into their factors of production thus increasing the price of oil.
On the other hand people say that we can save a lot more money if the government didn't put money into oil subsidies.
Can someone prove me wrong? Please?

When Donald says that there will be a mass exodus it is only a half truth. Investment capital fleeing the country will only happen if a tax increase is to large or lasts to long, but current profit levels are so high that businesses CAN afford to pay at least a little more.

I'd love for companies to start taking their business elsewhere. What the rich in the United States lack is the same fear that the average person has of being robbed, killed, etc. Not that everyone is or should be afraid, but people who steal from people tend to steal from people of the same socioeconomic class.
The wealthy don't care about cops or problems in public schools, they buy their way around all that.

Why?BOTH political parties, including our current President has been BOUGHT by those weathy corporations, to make sure their taxes remain low! They will continue to cut programs for the poor and middle class, and RAISE taxes on the poor and middle class, to help pay for those tax cuts for the wealthy! This is the sad reality of politics in America. The sooner we all realize this, the better!

There needs to be a national discussion about the individual tax rate as it pertains to job creation and brain drain. Republicans claim that it influences jobs, but history is not on their side. What influences jobs the most: tax breaks or demand? It is obviously demand, so when the top 5% has 63% of the nation's wealth, the consumer class does not have much wealth, thus demand decreases. Once wealth is more equally distributed, then demand will increase.
