I agree. Musiq Soulchild is awesomely talented but he seems a bit cold and isolated from his fans. It seems like too much of a business at times for him. It's not hate...it's truth.

I dont know about that comment. He came to Jacksonville fl and I was able to meet him at a bowling alley and he signed autographs.He seemed to be very humble. I had his Christmas Cd and he signed it without a problem he,was so happy to know people were still supporting him. It was nice to meet him. But I highly doubt he is disconnected from his fans. He really didn't have to take the time to sit in a bowling and sign autographs. I don't know to many artist who would do that.

Musiqsoulchild is not the best live performer. I saw him recently N ATL @ Chastain & although it rained like hell U could tell he's just not the topnotch professional/performer he could B. He didn't put any real effort N2 creating a SHOW. And what was so sad is that he was n town w Boney James who put on a phenominal show.

Showmanship is a personality. Its possible that if he was more of a showman he wouldn't have the same approach to music that we know and love. I wouldn't be willin to trade one for the other so let him do his thing. Besides. Great performers cant stay out of trouble.

Last time I saw him live, he showed up SIX HOURS LATE and gave a 1/2 assed effort. Am going to see him at Jazz cafe in Feb cos I KNOW they wont let him get away with that shit there. Am looking forward to it :)
