Just because they include characters from the game, doesn't mean it has anything to do with the game at all. Ohhh there's that big executioner guy, never mind that he's only in the movie simply to reference RE5 meanwhile the movie has NOTHING to do with RE5 the game.

@miggizle85 Of course the movies have nothing to with the games, their completely different story telling devices. But it is nice to see references between them even if they are just characters. Although saying if you watched 'Afterlife' past the few minutes of the end credits you would have seen Jill Valentine in the same set up as she is in 5 (brainwashed by Wesker and Umbrella). So they might be pulling from narratives in the games to make the films more like the source material.

@dantheman1237 To be quite honest with you, as my own personal opinion, I would much rather they just ignore the game completely if THAT'S how they're going to tie in the games into their movies. I mean if you're gonna screw the source material so royaly then don't insult my intelligence by making needless references to the game just so you can show them in the trailer and you can rile up the fans to make them think that you're actually going to a RESIDENT EVIL movie this time around.

your wrong afterlife is the the best of the series the franchise gets better and better 2 and 3 is also way better than the first, the acting is a lot worst in the first movie play the games buddy i want to see my game characters come to life not like the god awful first it had no characters from the games in that movie and the plot is stupid in the films i know, but same goes for the games it's fantasy duh!!
