the footage on the street in the polka dot dress is so mesmerising and magical - it feels very strange that someone so special did something as ordinary as drive a car or walk down a street but of course she MUST have done

I think if I saw her in that spotted dress in the street I was stare at her even if she wasnt Judy Garland because her face is just so warm with intelligence and character and style - I'd think "wow she looks really nice and really interesting"

@jockottawa I haven't been able to find out where or when that was. It seems like the late fifties and I know that around '57-'58 she peaked in health and vitality which shows here and in the music she released around that time.

@jockottawa I found out that the clip is from the New York City premiere of 'A star is Born'. You may be able to see the sign in the last second of the clip. It's from one of the A and E specials.
