I saw the series in the U.S. on t.v. when I was 11 or so and loved it. Never found it on t.v. again. I wasn't able to find the dvd in NTSC format to watch in the U.S., but was able to buy the PAL format and have it converted for me. Was definitely worth it! ElvenDane is right: they don't make them like this anymore.

One of my favourite TV-series of all times - and the with that lovely music. It has act. recently been rerun on both Danish and Swedish TV. So do start bombarding your local TV-companies /TV-stations with requests for it - it can be done ;-)
