I'm watching this vid and I'm laughing not because the kid is new to the game but the overall interactiveness of this game is totally amazing how a person can fly a fighter jet and provide support while the rest of the players fight through forcces on ground...

i played the original flash point, but i haven't seen any combat from OFP 2

the original flashpoint was from bohemia interactive (like armed assault and arma 2), ofp 2 is from codemasters. but i think the are going to be similar

seen some new footage. OFP 2 definitely has better graphics, but arma has battle scale, map size is about the same for both, and in ofp you apparently will have an AI squad for campaign and multiplayer, which should make the battle scale decent sized.

I downloaded (shame on me) I want to try it out before buying but if I see the vids over here it looks great. A guy flying over other guys trying to shoot something. awsome!!! But the only shity thing is the flight dynamics: cous the manouver at 3:50 is impossible in real. You would stall, even with a jet like this.

err, you can do an Imelmann maneuver in a WWI biplane made of cloth and wood.

Yes, but not in a modern jet ;) at least not that fast. A modern jet weights a lot more;) and therefore the stall speed is way higher (ofcours thats not the only thing the stall speed depends on...)

The warthog is not a typical modern jet- only as fast as a WWII P-51. But modern jets can certainly do aerobatics, just search "warthog immelman" into google images. Haven't you seen pictures of jets standing vertically on their tails?

Ofxourse they can, sorry about the A-10, I hadn't watched the vid again when placing the reaction, forgot that it was an A-10. But still, are you calling the flight dynamics realistic ? ofcourse you can do aerobatics with a jet. But not as in this vid. Watch some aerobatic vids an youll agree, I promise;)

But I wouldn't be surprised if they were unrealistic. As I understand, arma 2 is being made by the people who are more into simulation? Maybe the flying will be better.

arma 2 is made by the same people as arma ;)

I think flying "sucks" because realistic flight physics are very hard to make. It takes a lot of time to make. And because flying doesn't have a very big priority in arma the producers didn't spend that much time on it...
