@metallicagtr Hunting does actually help species. The licenses required for hunting are heavily regulated and only a certain number is given out so that it doesn't affect with the population. The money that is made from the licenses is used towards the conservation of the animals so that they can be better studied, maintained and preserve the land for them. So hunting with a license is good for the species, without a license is bad (poaching) :)

I guess since the animals could still be alive it doesn't alert them to your position, so they may not run as far from you, or charge you. I understand the killing of animals for food and survival but for sport it's bullshit. Why not hunt down people? At least they can defend themselves instead of a helpless animal just trying to survive in the woods. @metallicagtr Hunting does actually help species. The licenses required for hunting are heavily regulated and only a certain number is given out so that it doesn't affect with the population. The money that is made from the licenses is used towards the conservation of the animals so that they can be better studied, maintained and preserve the land for them. So hunting with a license is good for the species, without a license is bad (poaching) :)

I guess since the animals could still be alive it doesn't alert them to your position, so they may not run as far from you, or charge you. So I can see why you may want to keep quiet, but I still think it is just odd that hunters do this. I mean he screams when he sees it up close. I just wondered...

@jayball2003 You are correct it's apples to oranges, but I'm just saying Jared Allen is not the best in the league and he's overrated. Yes Julius Peppers gets sacks too but he produces more pass breakups and interceptions, something Allen struggles with. You can't be a complete end if you can't effectively drop back and defend the pass once in a while.
Jared Allen is great at rushing the quarterback, very good at playing the run and he's about average playing the pass. Not the best DE.
