Like most people, I like the lyrics of song but I don't think it is *entirely* about father. The segment on his father is only one part of his memories that he long for, just like the puppet show itself. For me, the song is about one's memory of the past, that's why it is called "追憶", at least that is how I interpret it.

24 yeas ago, i bought this cassette after school. i took 2 hours to listen all these songs over n over. i was specially n deeply in love with it. At that moment i made a bold judgement that it is going to be long-lasting n never-outdated song. since then, i highly recommended it to friends. Besides Lam's voice, Lam Chun Keung did a great job on lyrics. thats the soul of the song. I do hope young people would pay more patience to hear the lyrics! anyway, thanks 4 ur work, Stanley!
