Nice Song But Its From Famous Video - Tooting Video, There are missing some songs. I remember i had a video cassette from Tabbassum Video Uk Tvi, They also had cut the song Garam gulabi sham hai By nahid akhter.

@maryamiffat ~Yes you are correct this version was used by Famous aswell - except they put more cuts into it for trailers - I think I have the TVI version and will check it this weekend. The ANA VCD is the same. All have 5 song tracks. Seems strange to drop popular songs

@ADNANFBA Thanks - Yes - I've often heard that Zia's martial law led to heavy censorship and taxes on the industry. When you look back, it's difficult to understand why - especially by todays standards.

@Apexclassiccinema I'm afraid I can not find the song you requested - I sourced and checked 3 different prints - two from UK and one from Pakistan and this song does not seem to exist. Often songs are cut and we rebuild the release with lost tracks restored - I will look into this a bit more. Umrao Jan is an example - the last track in the Pakistani release is missing. Surraya Bhopali/Shabana/Andata - the UK release had missing tracks

" Garm Gulabi shaam hai" was a record breaking hit of its time. Only those people ve seen who went to watch Bharosa in its 1st run in cinema houses. The time when movie released in Pak & abroad ON VIDEO they censored 2 songs..another one is " Shabab ladkhadaga" also sung by Naheed A. Both the songs NEVER appeared on video.

@Apexclassiccinema Yes censor board scissored 2 songs of Bharosa same as like " Dulhan Aik Raat ki" song " Aaja aaja karle pyar" which they reshooted again on Musarrat Shaheen & added in the film in its 2nd run in cinema houses." Bharosa " got fame bcoz of Naheed Akhter songs only at that time.
