  • I have a passion for women and motorvehicles but i think that Most things have salvageable parts, its a shame that their not saved. In a throwaway society its not surprising that not many people keep things that have all ready have cost a great deal to manufacture and don' t appreciate what purpose that its provided. Save whatever you can becaues it still can do what its designed to do and more!

  • THANK GOD!

  • great place! be even more interesting to watch if it weren't for all the silly fancy camera work and editing... it's like watching an episode of CSI or something... most annoying...

    a fun day!!

  • could happily spend a whole day walking round there :-]

  • awsome!

  • I would love to just walk around there for an afternoon.

  • Thanks to the harsh heat the cars remain rot free but in England, we dont have that privelage of such rust-resistant weather.

  • If any of you guys live in Southern California, try Memory Lane Auto Parts in Sun Valley. I found a perfect '69-'70 door for my Mustang for only 150.-- Anywhere else, would be at least double that!

  • kickass!

  • No. I'm afraid I don't. It was white like this one.

  • 0:56 - 1964 Chrysler

  • Are you sure it's a '64? We had a '64 New Yorker just like that w/a 413 4bbl, push button trans. It was a great car.

  • it is either a 63 or 64. And the only way to tell is by trim. And in this case it might really be a 63. If you go forward to 4:08 you can see a horizontal bit of metal that goes under the front grill. In this case it is flat. If it was a 64 it would "follow" the lower edge of the grill and tuck up under the headlights.

So I stand corrected, I think it is a 1963. And by the side trim I would say it was a 300.

Do you have any pictures of your old New Yorker? (we had one too)

  • mean to say '61 Plymouth fury

  • huh? do you mean you had a 61 fury and not a 64 New Yorker?

  • nope meant that the car was a 61 fury, but after some further research turns out you were right.

There is a slight difference in front clips from a '61 fury, and the '64 new yorker, but if you compare them you will see they look a lot alike, but easily mistaken if you do not compare.

  • Tasty treats indeed -
