I've never ridden this ride, but from the looks of it, it looks like an extremely cheap version of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disney World LOL! Pirates of the Caribbean is by far the best pirate themed ride :D

Oh dear, this is the most distressing thing I have ever seen. I remember going on this ride about 6 years or so ago and there wasn't a prop that wasn't moving. Some had become limited in what they did, but everything functioned well enough. From the look of this, hardly anything seems to be working properly any more. What a shame, was such a great ride. Renovation time, maybe? Great vid btw :)

@xXtotalyawesomeXx If u like scary rides go on shockwave its does loops ,corcksqwers , and is fast , it was rated scariest ride in the uk going at 53 mph , if u like really fun rides go on maelsrtom which is a big gyro swing , gforce is good but is short , th epirate ship is called bounty it gives u a funny felling in yr tummy but its gud ben 10 is gud it goes backwards and is fast. thats all the info i have.

@ToricoUK Actually, it is a rip off. The original Pirates of the Caribbean ride opened in Disneyland (California) March 18th, 1967.

at the first few seconds of the ride look up you will have a heart attack as a dirty man watches you oh and at 2:17 the man should be saying get in box to the person who is tying to get out

I really would like to go to the UK and ride this. When I was on tour with a band we only got to go to the large carnivals in Germany but they were Hella fun. The Disney robots cant be beat and there is a Piraten ride in Europa park that copies the Disney one scene for scene. I love amusement parks.

@mesmoland  You have to ride X2! insane ride. Incredible sound track with sound bites from Metallica and Full Metal Jacket,The SHining ect. Fire and fog effects. The cars themselves do 360 rolls. Just awesome. SHooting for Kingda Ka in a year or two. I'm in my 50's and have no intention of slowing down.

I hate this ride but i still go on it i have a fear about them kind of robots, Especially being as some are in the water, I think the waters electric and i get paranoid lol
