Most of you don't even know what started that fight. Sutton tried to take a high cheap shot on Mike Green when the game was all but over, because Sutton is a coward. And as a result, Atlanta lost like...3 or 4 fights in a row. And since that game the Caps have owned Atlanta. I'm not saying Washington is good, cuz we're not...but Atlanta needs to learn how to fight.

First things first, Andy Sutton has caused several brawls--two with the Caps, one with Toronto--with these head hunting hits late in the game with his team ahead. One of these days he's going to end some guy's career.
Second, Glen Hanlon didn't help matters along by skating Donald Brashear and John Erskine with barely a minute left in the game and his team down by two goals. What, were those guys going to score goals to even things up?

Anyway, I wish they would stop the fighting when it gets like this, I watch hockey to watch people play a game, not fight, especially when it's cheap shots like this. I agree with another poster, the referees were calling random penalities and weren't being enough judgmental and accurate.

This game was ridiculous, well at least the Capitals were. It was purely pathetic to watch this live, the Capitals were losing and I guess they figured 'what the hell'. I hope all of the Capitals involved (even the coach, they failed to show where he said to Bob Hartley: "You want to go?") get fined, and also the Thrashers involved. It was a sorry excuse of a game once all of this fighting started.
