@scud711 Giving you an update on my restoration of my High-Speed I am in the cleaning process now and working on getting everything cleaned from the cab to the wiring and get everything shiney. The play-field is much better but need some touch up done on it as there is spot were the art has come off.
I think it is going fairly good for the restore at this point. :)
I have one , i love it. the only problem i have is the sound, when i want to lower the music i can, but the that other sound i can't, dont know what to call that other sound effect, like almost a purrr in and out in and out.

I've noticed that the soundtrack here heard during gameplay varies from mine. My machine plays the full song that you hear as the game over music on this video all of the time throughout play. It's annoying. I'd rather just have the rhythm and clapping track heard here. Must be a slightly different sound ROM set. Any ideas?
Thanks. I found that the problem went away when I installed a spare sound board taken from Grand Lizard into the machine (with Grand Lizard ROM swapped with the High Speed one of course). Fixed!
It's one of the best classic pinballs of all time. I don't know if I'll ever see a day where another pinball makes as much of an IMPACT as High Speed did when it first came out.
They had this game at a dinky bar and I used to go in there, put the song "I Can't Drive 55" on the juke box, put in my one quarter and play all night. I LOVE THIS GAME.

The kickers don't want to work and have a weak left flipper and weak bottom bumber at the top play field.

It's a bug on the Sound ROM or the data lines coming towards it. It constantly gets told to play the "GAME OVER" song in your case.
