But I think that during the unrest in Xinjiang Uygurs were wrong in beating & attacking Han Chinese, because it hasnt been done for independence of region. It was just act of expressing rage. Not ordinary Han Chinese on the streets are limiting Uyghurs rights, but Chinese government. And beating Han Chinese in Xinjiang who are not responsible for Chinese Governments policy toward Xinjiang is totally wrong.

I just finished watching an interview with Ms Rebiya Kadeer and found a few interesting facts:
1. She had 11 children, which confirms that Uighurs were not subject to China's One Child Policy.
2. She was born to a family with no background. She started her business with a road side convenient store and worked her way to be THE richest person in the province of Xinjing. This proved Uighurs can earn their business success through hard work.

The Uighurs are understandably angry at the fact that millions of Han Chinese have been relocated into their land, and consequently have all the economic advantages, and enjoy a higher standard of living than the native Uighurs in their own land, due to unfair practises by the Chinese government, who favour the Han Chinese over minorities. The term "Mohameddian" hasn't been used for a century; and religion plays NO PART in this struggle.
