LOL ya...i don't see much for the high end--town life..stuff or this....playing sims in my case is to make up for the loss of no longer having my ps3 and having a mac, I am at a loss for fun games for my computer. Sims seems to be something that consumes most of my boredom. Its fun but not that fun. add-on's aren't really in my interest. But the sims night life, sounds like allot of fun. Will be purchasing that in due time.

I just have no appreciation for overprice, stupid looking digital cars that can't really be used. com/sims3downloads.htm. Click on the car you wanna preview and for easy-downloads; click on the "download as sims3pack" button. Save the file to documents/electronic arts/ sims 3/downloads folder. Once you open the game launcher, go to the downloads tab and install the car(s) that show up in the list andrun the game. Any other questions? feel free to ask.

@afoninja121 Dont open it with anything, just save the file to electronic arts/the sims 3/downloads. Once you open the game launcher, it will appear in the downloads tab. Check the checkbox and select install.

@09csr i realized what was wrong i was downloading the zip file but some of the items only have a zip file download option do you know what i need to do to get around that? I have a tool to extract the file but the file was unable to be read for whatever reason dont know if im doing something wrong or if i just cant use it do you have any ideas?

@afoninja121 Those files require Winrar/7-zip for extraction. Those files are ".Package" files and require a special method of installing; Go to this site (will put link in nex post)and download the "framework.zip". Save it to "documents\electronic arts\the sims 3" (it will only work if you place the extracted file here!). A map named "mods" should've been extracted. Open it and place all the cars that was only downloadable as zip here(filetype should be named " .package"). They should work now.
