  • his voice is the most boring thing ever it sounds so like blah blah blah i am fucking past out sleeping al ready in its 1:00 min in the video

  • Excellent better future and leadership in information technology and the future of the internet

  • Page 2008 would have been better for the executive branch of government or Page in the next election for the next electionas well successful people should run for office and have higher quality candidates, better for energy, for future as well abide by Hamilton Federalist

  • "Basically, our goal is to organize the world's information and to make it universally accessible and useful" Larry Page

Hopefully there can be semantic search leading into Web 3.0 that changes with the future of the internet, RDF, and a better future as well with engineering using Web Ontologies interesting to see

  • Larry PAge talks about the future that's awesome.

  • He has no charisma.

  • it's kermit the frog!

  • Future is now!

  • Comment removed

  • "its so obvious that i don't even know how we are debating on it"

  • 11:49 $Working on getting there.

  • Make my internets faster kermmy thank uus

  • Kermit the frog goes to washington

  • there 37 billion reasons why i admire Larry Page

  • They should free up the whole spectrum and distribute everything via internet data packets.

  • Genius ,they don't need to graduate to achieve what they need to.

  • Larry and Sergei ,why don't join forces with Bill Gates, both companies will be richest company in world

  • maybe because they think the success of microsoft isin't real...

  • @greenfields47:

Are you out of your mind!!! The morons in Microsoft would start bean counting and stifle the innovation that Google is well known for.

  • The future is looking bright.

  • Thanks for being so straight forward! So the signal being used now will open up to the broader penetration offered by white space as soon as the radiance of signal is approved by the FCC? Or will it be another "improvement" we get charged for that costs manufacturers/marketing/developers...didI find the right segment of the chain yet? I love this Audio Preview! Was that developed by Google too?

  • At about 13:35 you say something about wireless microphones being detected. Are they the things that the FCC wants to protect from interference? I think we should ALL to the microwave test. Who are the 18,826 listeners? What I mean is how much money is watching and being affected by these changes...for their benefit and/or loss?

  • fcc ...listen!

  • i think they have

  • Gigabit fastmetrics ethernet that allows us to connect our multiple office LANs in a metro area.

That's what I'm talking about Larry!

  • It'll cost $100 Million?? Larry can cover that expense himself.

  • May the future be Google World.

  • Wow! Let's not get too happy man! Google World? We wouldn't want any one company to rule all! I mean, yeah. Google is the best at doing stuff online and they should continue doing it but, we need to see stuff from others too!!

  • DUMB permeating idiotic politics thrown in by useless conservative cronies. This could be quite an asset of the US if only they would keep their head out of their asses long enough to see the big picture

  • I fully agree iwth the freedom fo the waves for making broadband access freely available to users. Particularly in the developing countries. We need to get more mileage from the available spectrum and the easy use of Wi-Fi spectrum in a non interfering way is a no brainer. Resolving the politics of the issue is the test .Lets join hands.

  • Agree 100%

  • racist :)

  • Rigged meant 2 block by sabotaging testing 2B off from the real & proveable 2 test instead 4irrelavent criteria set BY broadcasters 2 prove unch'kable fake nonpoints B4 ok'd 2go ahead & do.Same who 4nwo want 2 kill net neutral/freedom & enslave us 2B on net only w/cableTV-like $tiered subs.2 corp select site-groups w/only corp sites of THEIR choice+pay-per, &pay-per emailing & NO go-anywhere as U choose, Xblogs, Xppl's websites, Xfact ch'k, etc, XALL independence 4 corp.profit&propaganda 2 rule

  • I have decided to vote for Google for President. Because they seem to be the only people (well ok, thing I guess) that still gives away stuff free to the PEOPLE! I also want the job as Larry's limo driver when he takes over the country, and the world..heh heh

  • They also understand what needs to be done. They know what the people want, then they provide it for free.

  • I support Larry's points and passion on this issue. However, he did say the FCC tests were "rigged" and when he was confronted on that he said, "No, that's not what I'm saying." So Larry, how do you really feel about the FCC test? Say ti clear for us -- do you believe they were "garbage" and "rigged" or not?

  • @iphoneluque: So what do you want ponies? Maybe you should watch a web2.0 blahgger. This guy is a very good speaker because he actually has something to say.

  • the hair looks great.

  • How Many Times Did He Say Interference?

  • $1, Bob.

  • he has a good point, he isnt a great spreaker though.

  • Larry Page has gray hair at 34! He's been working hard!

  • Cool Video! 5@@@@@!

  • Well done larry

  • "I'm an engineer so I like the real debate"

    I really like that quote.

  • Of course annihilating the wireless phone companies with a skype phone you can take anywhere is going to be met with a lot resistance. Larry's well aware of this but his cute engineer's shirking of politics isn't enough to change things. You gotta play hardball.

  • Yay for higher data rates!

  • I admire Larry Page.

  • @lesbianian i admire sergey brin

  • x2 agree

  • cool

  • i have heard of something like this. in a trip across seas, my neighbor found that internet is sometimes free because they do this with their wifi.

  • the reason that they are against wireless internet becoming becoming widely available is that if that happens then internet through cable, and phone lines will die out. wireless can go the same speed or faster, and can be used anywhere. gah, politics

  • It will, indeed.

  • Dude sounds like Ray Ramone

  • I predict that the federal communications commission will allow you to build your devices within the spectrum as long as it doesn't interfere with TV stations. (too much)

  • sounds like a very good idea.

  • as long as it stays unlicensed ...

  • wooha sounds nice

  • No one cares.

  • Lets assume your statement is true. Then,

    No one cares.

    AND

    I care.

Therefore, did I just prove that I am no one?

  • your comment is out...no one like it

  • no ur not
