Please does anyone remember what Ace combat it is / what mission that your in a grey/white aircraft that looks like and has a name like the SR-71 where you fly around really really fast, and the one where you do re-entry in your plane and have to line it up otherwise your aircraft burns up?

I'm a mega fan of Ace Combat and used to own all of them, but I havn't okayed in a while and really want to know!

If this version just had the squdron it would be so much better. Scylla and Charibdis explains the neucom planes that join them suddenly. But to see the video of the R505U being destroyed, just let it be destroyed by enemy planes. Of course, in the JP version, it wouldn't be "mission failed" here

No, it's a made up plane. As you can see it says on the description "Raptor II". There are several planes in this game that are fictional upgraded versions of current generation aircraft.

There is only one variant of the F-22 in reallity.

F-22C is a crap for me, the only two reasons I use it are high attitude mission on simulator or just satisfy. For 2nd generation General Resource planes (according to JP version there are F-16XA, F-15S/MT, F-22C and F/A-32C), F-15S/MT is the best. For this mission MiG-33 is enough (and actualy F-15S/MT and F-22C are still unavailable).

Back in the day, I was a kid and new only a few of the popular jet fighter around. F16, 15, 18, and mig 29. When first unlocked the F22, I though "what a weird plane", and assumed this was one of the game's original "superplane". it was in 2000.

i like this game better than the PS2 versions....the music the graphix, the style back when namco was into 90s techno retro. all i remember was that i rented this game and i knew i wanted to buy it...waited and waited and waited for the price to go down until...it wasnt in the shops anymore...that was the time when the dreamcast and the ps2 were fairly new...the dreamcast was on display in an eb games shop window

I have AC3 Electrospere on my emulator. and i play it with an PS3 controller. but the left Joystick dosent work i can only steer aircraft with my rudder. but in the Controller config. i configurated the Left and right Joystick. Can i even play that game with an PS3 controller correctly?
