The caption at 2.54 is wrong. Though the melody indeed comes from a piano sonata, the song [Zu jeder Zeit] derives from the Heinrich Berthe operetta 'Das Dreimaderlhaus' [Lilac Time]. And the film was not made in London in 1936, but in Berlin [Zoo] in July 1932.
Die kulturlosen englischen Barbaren haben die deutschen Kommentare deshalb aus dem Film geschnitten, weil dieselben besagten, dass Tauber ein Jude ist! Fragt sich also, wer hier mehr Kultur hat!
GH Clutsam (composer of 'My curly headed Baby') arranged the music for Tauber's first British film 'Blossom Time', from which the Standchen derives. 'Wien, Wien nur du allein' in this clip derives from Tauber's second British film, 'Heart's Desire'.
I've no idea who came up with the name "Clutsam," but this song was actually composed in 1913 by Rudolf Sieczynski. This is an error. Also, Tauber totally rules, as they say.
