If you rent a movie, even redbox or netflix, etc, $1 for a 1.5hr movie.

A $15/month MMO...

Okay, more realistically. - 8hrs/day sleep, 8hrs/day work, and maintenance times.

= ~ 6 cents / hour

No, VG isn't free (after the 14day trial), and it isn't as flashy as WoW, but it is a whole different kind of game too. Well worth the trial at least.

This is kinda funny..I played Vanguard in beta since August..I'm currently playing Vanguard right now..And umm,the character models don't look anything near like they do here..These character models look phenominal..It's a shame sigil went with outdated character models at launch..I'm sure they willg et updated eventually cause right now they aer 10% as cool as these models are..

This video is from pre-alpha in 2005, and yes, the models are being updated and modified. Dwarves, Gnomes and a few other races have been finished, the other 12-15 races are on project for the continued beta program. They should have all models finished before the game goes live.

i rank it 6.5-10, because from what i beta test, combat sucks as hard as EQ1's, UI is like WoW ((nothing new there <blames SWG and sony>)) but other then the cons, the graphics are very good ((unfortunately you may have to buy a new graphics card :/))

Whats different is Sigil is trying to put a bit of strategy and thinking in so you have about 2 seconds to think between attacks, that and they havn'tput in any special animations in yet, lol

Something about the combat animation seems weird in the videos, but I too hope this game knocks it out of the park.
