it's me mikey, i wanted to say hi to ever one, i'm really down bad, i miss the sailing so much ! being out on the water was a very happy feeling for me and ever one know how we all feel then we are on the water with the wind in our face to have the water come over the bow !! and the water land on you what a feeling and i miss them days so much ! and few weeks ago i was in NEW YORK on a old time sailing ship ! the feeling came back to me ,i wanted to cry >>

thanks you. that was me and my great friend. i miss them days sailing out in the lake.. i had a great time waiting for the bridge to open up so we can pass thro it ... even then i was a little boy . i always wanted to go up there and see it how you trun it from up there ! ... i wanted to say thanks you for seeing my video of the river !. toledo,ohio will always be my home town... thanks you so much... for the nice comment ,, it was me and my boss that i work for we wound go sailing out to the islands ... ever weekend ... even on the week days ..then we had the time off... there is notthing more enjoy be out on the water with the wind in your face... and sleeping under the stars and in the morning to wake up with hot coffee and see the sun come up... ... i miss it so much .i hope one day to sail agian .i will always keep it in my heart . thanks you.

Yes sailing The (6) great lakes was fun as a kid.(Including Lake St Clair) i LIVED ON lake Erie for 18years in Luna Pier MIch.I was born on the maumee river @ river side hosp. 1959 Yes T-Town will allways be home to me to 3rd Generation Buckeye.Go Buckeyes!

you picked the perfect music to go with this! i am from toledo and it bothers me that I love the water so much but have never been on a boat (well except a canoe) on the maumee river. I have been on a boat once in lake erie, but down the maumee.

thank you so much.. we have a lot in common, we sail ever weekend to put in bay and up and down the maumee river so many times... it's wound take me about 6 hours to sail to the islands ... then at night i wound have my beer and dinner and go for a walk on the island then go to the boat to sleep and wake up in the moring time to see the sun come up what a view that is i'm in toledo about 1 or 2 times a year !

and sometimes i wound swim to the island to have some wine or beer and talk to the woman ! but it was so much fun! back then

i use to live in toledo,ohio and now i live in tennessee but toledo will always be my home town and i miss sailing to the islands there ! i go back toledo about two or 3 times a year ! and i always go and see the lake and say i had a great time out there ! sailing ..

ever time i go back i see something new in toledo it's really growing fast!

i went to roger high school from 1983 to 1986last summer time. i had to drive back there to see it agian its so run down and they made a new school its a full 9 hours drive for me to see toledo.ohio agian it was good to see the old school agian..

Thank you so much for the comment,i love looking at old time steamers!,on the weekends i would go boating and we wound go by the steamers!and i wanted to go up on them and look around at the engine room and the captain room too,the best thing is walking on board the ship !then i was little boy i wanted to work on them and one day to be a captain on one of them i love the water so much,the sounds of the steamers! moveing thro the water,it get my heart going ever time! I went to Whitmer and graduated in 1974. Toledo will always be my hometown too. I live in Taiwan now. I still have family in Toledo and I get back every few years.
