Why....the fuck...did enix cancel this?!?!?! This was the ONLY cool thing on the Source dvd, and it might have been our ONLY chance to see something highlander-based that's good besides the first movie, and possibly Enix's ONLY chance to make something recent and legitimately descent (lol that rhymes) without depending on the blind loyalty of dedicated fan, AND THEY CANCELED IT?!?!?!? Oh, I almost forgot, the dude who does the voice in this teaser trailer is Peter Warfield, NOT to be confused with Peter Wingfield (who played Methos in the series). He does a good job combining different accents. The main character was supossed to be born in rome, or in roman occupied territory, and then made his way to scotland hundreds of years later, and THEN, became a Highlander by name, and picked up a little bit of the accent, but the bulk of his accent is old Roman.

To AngelArtists....Yes, the game has been canned. It never made it past post production. The movie due out in 2011 (currently set to start Kevin McKidd as Connor MacLeod), is simply a remake of the first Highlander movie that starred Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery.

This would have been an awesome game, and it sucks that the first good "Highlander thin" in a long time got canned....but those are the breaks

@advogadotribuna He's not a true MacLeod, he's not originally a Highlander. He was accepted into the clan. Duncan and Conner are ACTUALLY from the clan MacLeod in terms of bloodline. And they use MacLeod as a jumping off point, because that IS a Highlander clan. And it rolls off the tongue. You can't have them from the clan MacKenzie (or McKenzie) can you? Lovely name, but doesn't quite roll off the tongue.
