@hga101 Don´t buy Alienware! Build your own PC. You can get the same performance (or even better if you know how to OC properly) of an Alienware much cheaper. Just be smart and build your own PC with the parts that you like. Its very simple dont be scared of making mistakes. Just be carefull and everything will be good.

I don't have quite the setup you have. I play simpler games, like Sims and RCT. I have UT# for my ps3 and it's wonderful when I feel like playing a fast paced shooter. But I'm more of a fan of technical shooters, where you need to have some sort of cover, stuff like that. Not too sure why lol cuz I'm good at fast paced. Alright now I'm WAYY off topic haha

2 if you just remove the 230. If you remove the connection panel at the top you can ad a third one. The mounting holes for all 3 fans are already there.

I´ve just taken a closer look at the case and you can ad the 3rd fan with no problem. You don´t have to remove anything. When you asked me about the fans i just looked into the manuel of the case and not at the case itself and in the manuel it looks like you have to remove the panel but that is bs. Sorry my fault.

Original hat sie die NVIDIA Referenztaktraten, hab sie aber auf 650/1401/1125 laufen bei standard Lüftersteuerung (fast immer ca.40%). Geht ohne Probleme bei max 75°C

I like its overclocking capability. CPU is running now @ 4.040MZ and very cool temperatures. I never had any problems with the board.

Why do all you guys think a quad core is better for gaming application? They have higher scores in 3dmark wich means nothing. At real games my CPU is faster, overclockes further and is a lot cheaper than most quad core CPUs. I don´t want to pay 1500€ for a quad core PC that has about the same performence as a 1100€ dual core PC. Sorry, but that is pointless. I´m not rich enough to do that.

It is true that dual cores are better for the games that are out. But games that will be coming out will be optimized to take advantage of multiple cores such as quad core processors

But how long will that take? At the moment only a hand full of games support quad cores and those games dont realy take advantage of it (for example crysis). I think when that is the standard for games my PC is 3 years old or older an i have to buy a new one anyway. I agree that in the near future a quad core will be the better choice but not at this particular time.
