You can't have a Destiny's child without Beyonce but can get rid of the other two, (What were there names again?) and still have DC. They have the second best selling album by a female group TWOTW and that was their 2nd album so everybody knew they were going to become big & they did. TLC..fun and crazy girls,they had great music and great retro style, great dance moves not to mention they had a rapper in the group. Destiny's Child..all about empowerment, they over came challenges..had great music, also great live performers..and one of the baddest lead singers to ever do it. DC: more pop/r&b, amazing harmonies

See this is the thing. Destinys child is good, but they they have replaced members twice. You can't have a Destiny's child without Beyonce but can get rid of the other two, (What were there names again?) and still have DC. But since TLC was so group oriented and fueled you can't replace any of them and still have TLC. It's not possible. TLC is a better group. Destiny's child is a very well put together commercial machine. They will never be as original or influential as TLC.

I was on da site a few weeks back and my stats are correct DC has sold 50 million albums but that doesn't include singles, dvds, and all the other stuff they sold which comes pretty close to 100 million, tlc did sell close to 18 mil and dc is 17. and the numbers didnt come from billboard bcuz they don't caculate everything. i got them at some world music site.

Yea well Destiny's Child had their first single hit in the top 5 and just continued with alot more singles like that. They have the second best selling album by a female group TWOTW and that was their 2nd album so everybody knew they were going to become big & they did. Especially with beyonce & kelly and then Michelle came into the group. You cant get a better combination than those three.
