Hi craftchest, i respect your opinion on building the smiter, but i think its way too expensive and focuses on wrong stuff. 1st of all the skills, hit lightning resist max and every point that goes over it increases maximum lightning resistance by 5, only 1 point in salvation is enough and theres no need for vigor. 2nd is the items: you cant leech with smite other than with draguls so go for crush and ias instead -> Duress,blackflail,zaka,guillaume,highwarlord,raven,bk3,gore,dungo and draguls
Shako gives 10 dr and if u insert a ber it would give you 18% dr, a total of 55% with the rest of your gear. since 50% is max, you get a free 2 skills and lots of life. just a tip.
just have a note about your damage reduction. Gaze (20) + Dungo (14) + Leviathan 23 = 57. if i were you i would throw in a ber rune in your leviathan remove the gaze and instead i would use a shako with ber rune socked, thus landing me on 53% dr (since 50% is max). nice and cheap, and the skills combined with life makes the shako a priceworth hat :)
on ur exile , u have played so long and u dont even know exile should be eth and they can max have 45 all res .. crappy smite if i should say so myself , but i can tell that u were not very rich at the moment or u dident wanna spend more time and items on it so i dont give u a hard time about that :) good tutorial over all but im my opinion that is a crappy smite :) no hard feelings!.

A MUCH better build is treachery armor prebuff (lvl 15 fade gives 75 all res 79% shorter curse time, 15% physical res) and Duress as main armor. Then umed zaka wizzy (res and mana), Guillaumes face (35 crushing blow), goblin toe (25 cb). Then of course verdungo, draculs, ravenfrost, dwarf star, highlord (or shael'd wizzy if mara is used to get max atk speed). Ofc life tap blade/wand

Just make sure to play it online in realm Us WEST and ill walk you through how to play and ill also gear you up. D2 is as addictive as crystal crack cocaine marajuana.
to be honest a smiter isn't a very expensive char to build u mostly pvm so all u really need is life tap max resist and crushing blow. Try using a last wish pb or death pb, guillaumes helm, coh or duress amor, hoz, dungos, maras, raven bk, waterwalks or gores, and dracs. this is all u really need. not very expensive standard smiter gear guarantee max resist.
Most of the people talking shit over the build are prolly 11 or 12 and you do it because you think your bad ass. Do us all a favor and stfu. Because your not.

actually when people are using enigma its usually when they are using coa because enigma give alot of strengh so u can put more into vitality :) and u still got all the bonus of enigma :)

lw needs 6 ias for max smite fpa, and theres zero in your stupid fucking build (pending helm jewels, but i'm 100% sure you think ber/ber is better).
also, that much ctc lifetap isnt necessary, just get a fucking wand or marrows + ONE source of ctc then put on some more offensive gear you pussy, like hoz or blood gloves.
you should get chain of arnor, grief/or last wish for the shild you should get vortex or 1 lower than vortex i'm not geving you crap becaus you are using that you need way more crush and blow
you need much more crushing blow and (if you can afford) a grief. If you want to be a party-supporter, maybe think about +off skillers. Def is not that important - any Melee already has enough, so don´t waste your points. Think about conviction if you want to support casters.
Hi! i'm not much of a gamer but i begun playing Diablo II LOD (not online) again for the sake of the old times (and a lot of free time) and i see you and other guys have a lot of strategies of building great characters. you all have High lvl characters and great and rare equip. I want to ask how do you manage to survive in the lower lvls whey you don't have the skills and equip. it may be a lame quiestion for you but and answer will help a lot of newbs like me.
you can also use a pb last wish the fade is gg, plus it gives you life tap which will help alot in ubers, and fort gives you alot of def if its ap, plus fort has chilling armor witch can be very usefull,

are you sure about your equip? I use forti, hoz, highlord, heavens light(shael,shael) draculs, ravenfrost, dwarf star,dungo, gore rider, guileames face, and i make uber tristram in 2 minutes

Max smite, fanaticism, defiance, holy shield, 1 in zeal. Max defiance last.
Make sure to not put any points in strength until you have your final gear. You want to put the minimum strength. No dex, no energy. This way you will be able to glitch them on with your torch and anni.
I used pb grief, dungo, coh, um'd guillaumes, dracs, gores, eth vortex exile, maras...
At 76 I could solo ubers with no potions. It depends what you want to do. But this is a very good build.
Horrible video, Upped hoz>exile, grief is the only viable smiter weapon, vamp gaze for leech? Haha! and everyone who comented is fucking retarded as well, using 20 ias gloves with a grief pb etc, lols

lw needs 6 ias for max smite fpa, and theres zero in your stupid fucking build (pending helm jewels, but i'm 100% sure you think ber/ber is better).
also, that much ctc lifetap isnt necessary, just get a fucking wand or marrows + ONE source of ctc then put on some more offensive gear you pussy, like hoz or blood gloves.

sry, but your smiter is not that great.
you need much more crushing blow and (if you can afford) a grief. If you want to be a party-supporter, maybe think about +off skillers. Def is not that important - any Melee already has enough, so don´t waste your points. Think about conviction if you want to support casters.

Hi! i'm not much of a gamer but i begun playing Diablo II LOD (not online) again for the sake of the old times (and a lot of free time) and i see you and other guys have a lot of strategies of building great characters. you all have High lvl characters and great and rare equip. I want to ask how do you manage to survive in the lower lvls whey you don't have the skills and equip. it may be a lame quiestion for you but and answer will help a lot of newbs like me.

you can also use a pb last wish the fade is gg, plus it gives you life tap which will help alot in ubers, and fort gives you alot of def if its ap, plus fort has chilling armor witch can be very usefull,

use ap coh/ber'd shako or ber'd coa/ and use grief PB. u should only need 30 base str. ur torch anni/treks/shako/maras charms setc will get your str up to 100+.

are you sure about your equip? I use forti, hoz, highlord, heavens light(shael,shael) draculs, ravenfrost, dwarf star,dungo, gore rider, guileames face, and i make uber tristram in 2 minutes

Max smite, fanaticism, defiance, holy shield, 1 in zeal. Max defiance last.
Make sure to not put any points in strength until you have your final gear. You want to put the minimum strength. No dex, no energy. This way you will be able to glitch them on with your torch and anni.
I used pb grief, dungo, coh, um'd guillaumes, dracs, gores, eth vortex exile, maras...
At 76 I could solo ubers with no potions. It depends what you want to do. But this is a very good build.
