    For communication between the app and GAE I use JSON. And as mentioned in the video I also use the Channel API that is available on GAE.

    Question: What do you use to make communicate your GAE app with phoneGap ?

    I ask because I need to do same kind of project: phonegap/JQM app with GAE back end.
