@tarvikkkk recheck the code and see if u have any other overclock programmes running lick super hybrid engine. Check the version u downloaded, if your netbook is second hand check if u have a modded bios. If these dont help then come back to me with ure system specs.

I have the 1015PN and set mine to 233. It locked up in about 4 minutes after I increased the clock. So I guess my point is that your resullts may vary!
@Zerothehedgehog136 All i can say is if you do what i do in the vid you will be fine. I overclock my netbook all the time when i used it for everyday and gaming and i have bever had any problem. If in the unfortunate event that you do get a problem, like your netbook freezes because you set it too high or low the hold the power button down till it turns off and remove the ac adapter and battery. Wait 10 sec and turn it back on.

Hope i answered you question and if you are worry about the heat issue then buy a cheap pair of external netbook fans. I bout some for £5 off of ebay and never had any issues.
@bs8375 You need to remove your battery and all powersources fomr your computer when you overclock and shut down. Next time your turn on your comp and run setfsb look at the value it gives you as default, i have 156, you should have something similar. Before shutting down or logging off remeber to always run setfsb and revert to that value. I almost s*** myself first time i got that message XD but i realised what i was doing wrong. Hope i helped.
only with setfsb, without any exernal setting you can't go too high, to do a good fsb overclock, you must have access to more advanced options, like the ram timings, or you can't go too high because the ram will hang, the ram divider isn't a problem becase the atom, expecially on DDR3 goes in underclock for the ram, but timing are a problem, because reaching an higher ram clock (even if supported and still under the limit for the ram) at lower timings, will end in an hang or instability.
I think it freezes over 260 because the ram, at 260 the ram speed touches 665.7 mhz and the stock ram i think it's a ddr2 667, so at 261 it goes higer than 667mhz for the ram and the pc will freeze, try to uprgrade with a 2GB 800 ram, but i don't know if it will be stable
@AJ2Mars I am planning to get a 2gb module for my netbook but i just cant be asked to go through the effort of searching for the best one. The max memory that the netbook can handle is 2gb, so i might aswell get the best and i dont really pay attention to that number at the start i just kinda guessed a point to stop the the slider and then slowly went up, then i looked online and found another vid showing how to overclock but it wasnt user friendly so i made one. Hopefully its nice and simple.
@1005HAGAMING with seven 2gb will help regardless you want to overclock or not, owever to know if it hangs because the ram you must check whit cpu z the ram frequency that mustn't go above 400, for a 800 module, i've tried to oc a 1015pn 1,5ghz to 1.7ghz worked fine, 1.79 hanged, but i don't know if it's a ram problem because seems to be in the limit of the ram (cpuz don't recognize my ram but i think has a 1:2 divider, so must be four time the fsb) at 1.79 it's 795/800 so i don't know.

Also if anyone reads this out of the 4 subs i have and you were waiting for some vids, sos for the extrreme delay. Been caught up in other projects but i have got lots of vids which need tobe uploaded and they will improve the performance. Just a few more days after the website i admin launches and then ill upload them with annotaions and other junk.
@Xxgoldragon97xX If you post your full specs i might be able to help but in the meantime check your bios and see if you change any values there. On my desktop pc my bios allows me to downclock and overclock my proccessor ures might too. One last thing if your proccessor is a dual core @2ghz why do u need to overclock. If you suffer from low performance or lag in games most likely thing that causes that is other hardware OR software problems OR your running games too high end for your computer.
Nice guide - throttling up my dinky PC works just. Cranking the speed back down - now THERE is a problem. Whenever I try to lower the multiplier back down the PC crashes spectacularly, with a flickering garbled screen and all. After three attempts to lower the speed (each resulting in a crash) the PC stopped booting up, until I removed the battery and tried again. Doesn't seem to be worth it.
@darkfalzx You must have set the fsb too high the netbook couldn't handle. If you still want to overclock try something more stable like 1750mhz or 1700mhz, these were much stable for me.
@darkfalzx When you boot up set fsb and click getfsb your are shown with a number, i have 156 @ 2:16 remember your number. I dont know what ures is. When you want to turn off ur computer or stop overclocking then change it back to that number. Thats your computers standard speed or the set speed from the manufacturer. :D hope i helped and thumb up if u liked it. Im gonna be making more vids soon but ive been working on finishing a website for anime.and there Lots of coding :D
