Hmm... I wonder if there was originally going to be some mission in Sandover Village. They wouldnt've made the area playable if it was JUST going to be the cutscene.
How can it be a glitch? Why would you be able to enter a world that is never scene outside of the opening cutscene? Why would they even put it into the game if you never use it? For that reason i'm thinking it's an Easter Egg.
I just want to know what Sentinel Beach and Fire Canyon are like in this mini world or if they're just blocked like Forbidden Jungle.

Jak and Daxter:The Lost Frontier is not a horrible game it's an OK game.The reason ND did not make the game is because the sold The Jak Series(Also the ratchet series and the crash series)just to make Uncharted.And High Impact Games could not make Jak and Daxter:The Lost Frontier similar to the other Jak games is because of CopyRights that Naughty Dog has.

Yo guys i know a dark jak hair glitch it really it works i tired it...kk first go to haven city then go to were vin (the sack of nerds guy) and go through the polat then when u do that turn dark jak then jump back into the portal still in dark jak form and when he comes back to the nerd cave lab his hair will still be sticking up,his teeth are still clenched and his claws with still be their...the only difference is that u can see his eyes he doesn't breath heavy and his skin is normal color.
You clearly don't understand game design. To reduce the programming and art needed for the next game the previous game was used as the base, using the same engine. As a result the jak1 levels were still present. In the opening cutscene Samo's hut and the beach were left in to give the appearance of the jak1 world. Your >glitch< caused the cutscene to returned normal controls. It can't have to do with the fourth game, it was a glitch in the second game, prior to the third game being conceived.

This must be a glitch and a glitch only cause its not hard for the creators to copy/paste the terrain and make the first movie of tha game in sandover village.
GLITCH. It has nothing to do with the Lost Frontier. It's Sandover village from the first game. When you start out in the cutscene they had to make Sandover village. Opening the lid and restarting the mission caused the glitch. You can do it with other scenes in the game also. If wait until you're in Haven City when Errol comes to get you and do the glitch you'll end up in that part of the city with no way out.
it's likely that it was planned that you could do something in the jak 1 world but then they decided not to do it after all. there are also ways to get into the safari zone in the pokemon gen2 games and the like.
I think the split-timeline theory goes like this: Jak goes to the future where the metal head leader rules Haven City. Because Jak, Samos & Keira went to the future, there's an error in the timeline, causing Young Jak & Young Samos to be in the future. In order to fix the timeline, Jak & Daxter need to send Young Jak & Young Samos to their original time.
also i can explain the dark eco box placements. basicly they just ported the code from jak 1 and the game registers the breakables from jak1 as in those boxes from jak 2. simple really. programming error.
also lost frontier? it takes place in the new world after jak X ive already beaten it so dont try to say otherwise but there are throwbacks to jak1. green blue yellow and red eco is used for instance.

The reason it does this is because at the naughty dog sign it loads the new game one, And sence whenver you take the disc out it goes back to were you last saved, As being were you are, If you look over there you see swarming metal heads, In the start of jak 2 you see swarming metalheads with the metalhead leader.

About that "sound" you shouldnt be able to hear, why the FUCK would they remove the sound in one single cutscene map for no reason? That would just take more time. Ofcourse you should be able to hear that "sound". And the reason you can go there, is because the glitch turns the camera script into the player script. The flying metalheads are just effects (which you can see in the intro)

this is a glitch not a hint of the fuken 4th installment of jak and daxter, the reason there is crimson guard plates is becouse in the jail place, it was there in the same spot as u found in the huts. this is a fuken glitch, in the final frontier, it takes place after the dark ego is destryoed from the robot dude, where he helps kira becomse a precorser, which means there is no younger jak, no hints of jak 4, and this is a fuken glitch. get over it.
Hey there's more to this glitch, do what you said to get on the Jak and Daxter world, and then go on to another video, then you can start the level all over again.

the Crimson Boxes are in the places were scout flies were in Jak and Daxter. i think. soo idk maybe they just put in this level and replaced the scout flies with those boxes since the boxes look similar and scout flies aren't in this game so they got lazy and yeah.

I think it was because they used the original Jak game in the cutscene. In Jak X, the commentary stated that to make their movies easier, sometimes they play through them themselves. I think this is a glitch, and what we're seeing is indeed the Jak engine. Plus, TLF has nothing to do with going back in time.
The thing i noticed about the 3 crates that u can find are in the same spots as the strong boxes(that held birds or something) from Jak and daxter the precursor legacy

Hey you know what just came to mind, like mattm724 wrote "I think it was meant to be the 1st lvl of jak2 but they changed their minds and through some glitch you can still get to the lvl" maybe the first level was to like fly the rift rider through the rift, and avoid metal heads from attacking you or something.
It has nothing to do with Jak TLF, it's a glitch, just do this on any other video and whatever place is shown in the vid, it takes you to that place. And it has nothing to do with the younger Jak.

the only reason you cant use your guns or jetboard is because when you're in the glitch world, it registers as a new game so you dont have any of those things yet

Uhh.. i think that gol and mia are the dark creators, from jak 3. and will return in the new game. if you paid any attention to the story line, about the dark creators, which not many people did, it explains and strangly resembles gol and mia. when jak was at the astro viewer in jak 3, it said that they were once precursers, but their exposure to dark eco changed them... So maybe they turned into precursers just like daxter did. they could after all, understand dark eco better than anybody.
My theory:the lvl itself is not a glitch cause of the crates/sound.However it is not a hint about Jak4 cause they didnt have a story planned out yet.I think it was meant to be the 1st lvl of jak2 but they changed their minds and through some glitch you can still get to the lvl.There is something very similar to this in world of warcraft.Blizzard started making a dungon called stormwind vault but decided to stop the project and on private servers you can still get to the empty unfinished dungeon
my theory is they will find new rift gat, go back in time, and discover gol and maia have been turned into the first metal heads. then jak stoppes them but they escape into the rift to the time of mar wer jak fufils his destiny of mar, builds the gun from jak 2 but returns to the present before he can use it.( in jak 2 krew said "mar died before he could use it"). thats all i have pieced together so far.

On the otherhand. it could just be messed up coding. Remember how in every cutscene in jak 2 /3 that is in heavan city or anywhere with NPCs? remember how them NPCS can still move? and if you crashed a bike nearby (Example) then you would still see it in the cutscene? its like that, the first cut scene was set in sandover, so thats why this level exists

first i would like to say that this is a hack/exploit bc a glitch is defined as a spot in a video game's map where u can shoot or hit someone or something and they can't hit u bak but they may or may not know where u r and second i know for a fact that jak 4 wont have anything to do with the kid but as we have learned in the 3rd installment is does have everything to do with Mar(ik bad joke but watever and if u criticize me on it learn to read the whole thing first)so that's all i guess

The reason it does this is because at the naughty dog sign it loads the new game one, And sence whenver you take the disc out it goes back to were you last saved, As being were you are, If you look over there you see swarming metal heads, In the start of jak 2 you see swarming metalheads with the metalhead leader.
Done. It's a glitch.

this has nothing to do with jak 4, because there will be no jak 4, because if you look on the top of the back of the jak 3 cd case it sais "The epic Legacy Concludes...." and if you went to school, you would know that concludes means it ends. an that place is "back home" for jak and daxter, where they used to live, and where jak and dazter, the precurse legacy took place

About that "sound" you shouldnt be able to hear, why the FUCK would they remove the sound in one single cutscene map for no reason? That would just take more time. Ofcourse you should be able to hear that "sound". And the reason you can go there, is because the glitch turns the camera script into the player script. The flying metalheads are just effects (which you can see in the intro)

r-tard! there is no way that they used this as a clue for tlf! They only have this place so the first scene can have a backround, and the character models hade a place to stand. And used as a testing ground.

this is a glitch not a hint of the fuken 4th installment of jak and daxter, the reason there is crimson guard plates is becouse in the jail place, it was there in the same spot as u found in the huts. this is a fuken glitch, in the final frontier, it takes place after the dark ego is destryoed from the robot dude, where he helps kira becomse a precorser, which means there is no younger jak, no hints of jak 4, and this is a fuken glitch. get over it.

the Crimson Boxes are in the places were scout flies were in Jak and Daxter. i think. soo idk maybe they just put in this level and replaced the scout flies with those boxes since the boxes look similar and scout flies aren't in this game so they got lazy and yeah.

I think it was because they used the original Jak game in the cutscene. In Jak X, the commentary stated that to make their movies easier, sometimes they play through them themselves. I think this is a glitch, and what we're seeing is indeed the Jak engine. Plus, TLF has nothing to do with going back in time.

Hey you know what just came to mind, like mattm724 wrote "I think it was meant to be the 1st lvl of jak2 but they changed their minds and through some glitch you can still get to the lvl" maybe the first level was to like fly the rift rider through the rift, and avoid metal heads from attacking you or something.

the only reason you cant use your guns or jetboard is because when you're in the glitch world, it registers as a new game so you dont have any of those things yet

it's a glitch. you found a way to play in the opening cinematic, which explains the metalheads. also you can only play in sandover because that's the only "Jak and Daxter" map that exists in Jak II. cool

Uhh.. i think that gol and mia are the dark creators, from jak 3. and will return in the new game. if you paid any attention to the story line, about the dark creators, which not many people did, it explains and strangly resembles gol and mia. when jak was at the astro viewer in jak 3, it said that they were once precursers, but their exposure to dark eco changed them... So maybe they turned into precursers just like daxter did. they could after all, understand dark eco better than anybody.

My theory:the lvl itself is not a glitch cause of the crates/sound.However it is not a hint about Jak4 cause they didnt have a story planned out yet.I think it was meant to be the 1st lvl of jak2 but they changed their minds and through some glitch you can still get to the lvl.There is something very similar to this in world of warcraft.Blizzard started making a dungon called stormwind vault but decided to stop the project and on private servers you can still get to the empty unfinished dungeon

my theory is they will find new rift gat, go back in time, and discover gol and maia have been turned into the first metal heads. then jak stoppes them but they escape into the rift to the time of mar wer jak fufils his destiny of mar, builds the gun from jak 2 but returns to the present before he can use it.( in jak 2 krew said "mar died before he could use it"). thats all i have pieced together so far.

This is my theory.
This aint a glitch, or a hint towards a future jak game. it's just a bonus level ND put it for fun
On the otherhand. it could just be messed up coding. Remember how in every cutscene in jak 2 /3 that is in heavan city or anywhere with NPCs? remember how them NPCS can still move? and if you crashed a bike nearby (Example) then you would still see it in the cutscene? its like that, the first cut scene was set in sandover, so thats why this level exists

yeah? but remember the whole gol and miya thing? that still hasn't been resolved, so i think they're gonna open another rift gate to the past and have to fight them off along with the rest of the metal heads that got through the first rift gate. they'd have to fight evil lurkers, metal heads, gol and miya, and maybe resolve the whole confusion of how Jak's uncle lives in the past. so yeah thats what i think. pluss they don't need to race to beat Rayn.
