I just bought one of these. I'm a Tele guy and I've always wanted a thinline. I'm switching the pickups out but beyond that, it's a great guitar for the money! Oh, and that "Squier" decal is getting sitched out for a "Fender" one on the headstock at the same time! But this IS an amazing instrument for the money.
Thanks. I didn't change anything on this Tele. It's a really nice little guitar. May be I'll change stock pickups for the Tonerider Vintage plus. I don't know yet.
For the settings, i think vol:4, tre:5 with bright on, mid:5, bass:7, rev:4 and presence: 3. Something like that.
Thanks for the quick reply, I have a Tele just like this and I like how it sounds acoustically but I think I need a better amp. All I have are practice amps. Your amp is a Fender Deluxe, right? Anything else I should know about it before I play my Tele through one?
Yes, it's a fender hotrod deluxe, with no mods, than i sold for a 1979 silverface vibrolux reverb, more expensive but for hte real fender sound... Look my others videos.
Anyway, the hotrod is a really good amp too for playing blues, country, blues rock, and a prefer the 40w (like mine) rather than the 15w one (blues junior) because of the dynamic. It still easy to modify to have a better sound.
Hey, I just put a Stetsbar Vibrato on my Tele. It required no modification to the guitar and it works quite nicely, too. I was stumped for the first few days though since my strings kept breaking but it turned out I didn't set it up right. Instead of having two screws push the bridge the strings were pulling it, Causing them to be under extreme tension.
The bridge is also think and transfers sound better than the last one. The saddles on the standard one are not to my liking, The springs buzzed against the strings too often.

Nice demo, cool guitar.
Some great Squiers out there, they shouldn't be overlooked.
*Check my demo.

Alright, Thanks. I'll look for a Hotrod the next time I'm in a guitar store and I'll bring my Tele along with me.
