This is bullshit. Yes we have Arabs in North Kurdistan, but they were migrating to our country and we already had a huge presence there. The small numbers of Arabs who fled to our lands to escape death did not have any impact on the demographics. And the name Diyarbakir does derive from the Bakr tribe, there are Arabs living among Kurds there and we live like brothers and sisters, but the true name of this city is the thousands of years old name "Amed" or Amida etc. So it doesn't really count.
@donthakiller What I mean is that, the Bakr Arabs can not claim this city as an Arab one because the modern name Diyarbakir which is imposed on the city by the Turkish regime. The city has been known as Amed or Amida for thousands of years and have been home not only to Kurds, but also Armenians, Assyrians etc. This is a great city.
@arabiannight100 wow where did you learn Urdu? Are you partially Pakistani? I must say I have a lot of respect for people like you because you retain your cultural heritage. We Pakistanis are throwing away ours in the name of Islam :-(
PS-I think you bhai instead of "bay" Bhai=brother in Urdu.

@arabiannight100 There is no Kurmanci, Kurmanci is a dialect of Kurdish. So those "Kurmancis" are Kurds.

The Arabs of pre-Islamic Anatolia were three groups:
1-Sumatar Arabesi tribe, migrated before 1st century BC.
2-Arabs of Urhoi (Edessa) and nearby cities vassal to it: Commagene, Arabissos, Segal..etc
3-Bakrid Arabs migrated to lower Iraq at Dhi Qar, a group of them continued migration upto modern Mardin and they are called Arabs of Mhallamiye
