The reason there was 91 is because sometimes.....if a pikmin with a flower on its head, a seed of another pikmin is left behind and sprouts overnight, ready for plucking the next day.

carl10o1, when the yellows died when they got the repair-type bolt & you tried to save them, you should have had blues there because they act as lifeguards for drowning pikmin

The blues can get up there. There is a ledge to the far left of it and if you throw them up there, you can lead all along the edge to the bolt. Much easier and you dont lose any pikmin.

On the second part you can throw pikmin up on the ledge thing, and call them back, and then walk over they will follow u and aotu maticllyget it.

I think they took ages ages to drown because you could hear them jumping in and out of the water and gettin air again. Also i always used this method and didnt know you could use blue pikmin. Cool!

@tafiz101 he means to use them on the ledge with a wall then call them. they wil follow you while trying to get over the wall (which they cant). then as they get near the part, guide them with C to grab it. you COULD do it with any kind of pikmin, but when they jump down from the ledge with the part, they'll 99% chance die unless of course you can time your wistle right and call them of it just as the part falls off. but as this chart shows: 99% all die. 1/2% some die. 1/2% none die, it is hard

You don't need yellows to get the Repair-Type bolt. You throw some blues onto the platform near where the stone bridge starts (it's not as high), and as Olimar crosses the stone bridge, use the C-stick to have them follow you to the part on their ledge (the balcony will prevent them from falling).

Use the c-stick when they're at the part, and they'll get it down just fine.

I know this, I've completed this game with 30 parts in half as many days (15).

Oh, and I noticed something when you got that propeller. You could have thrown your little yellow soldiers on that ledge up there, got on that narrow path, whistled them, and C-Sticked them across to the propeller without risk of having them drown.

If you don't see what I mean, go back to the level again or watch the video a few more times.

lol what you're supposed to do for the spinning boat thing is your supposed to throw the pikmin behind the wall leading up to it instead of trying to bring them on the narrow ledge, theres a mini wall that'll stop them from falling and you just lead them all the way down to the part, should be no pikmin lost hah

There is a way to save all of them! Jump in the water and call them to the shore! They'll stay alive as long as you keep calling them.

Yeah, about the Gluon Drive...it is a big part, in fact, the biggest in the game, but as to its importance to the ship, if you check Olimar's notes on it, you'll see that he doesn't even know its exact function.

What you really should do for the Repair Type Bolt is throw a bunch of blue pikmin onto the beginning of the ledge (near the onions), and then just walk them over with the C Stick.
