Actually, I handle my babies from the day they are born. Some mothers won't let you handle them and willl canabalize them...which is not a good thing. But if the mother likes you, and accepts you handling the babies, you can handle them from day one. They're definately better off that way.
i cant remember how old they are when i start picking them up.. as long as they start to walk and have fur on their body, u may start picking them up.
i luv when the eyes open like wen my hamsters eyes open!!!!

u have to carry them when they are kids.. allow them to get used to be carried and used to your "smell". =)
