What is new about Ghajni being a copy of Memento? Plagiarisation has been the technique of our indian producers to earn money since long. Cliffhanger,Silence of the lamb,unfaithful,unlawful entry, Mrs Doubtfire,Living with the enemy and many other Hollywood films with good stories have been copied or plagiarised by our so called famous film makers! Are there no copyright laws in operation?Why these film makers have not got the honesty to say that their film is based on such n such English film?

Just to clear everything up for people. Hollywood or Bollywood story writers send their scripts to other film industries to make more money or the other film industries buy the use of the story line. The idea and concept will be the same, but they will change some things for that particular audience. So Ghajini is based off of memento, but I'm sure the original script/story writers got some benefit.
