The HX model always intrested me and I always thought they were interesting rigs. A little on the small side but WHAT A RECEIVER!!!! I am totally shocked. It blows that FT-950 to pieces and every other radio I have owned and operated....which is quite a few. Now I am going to have to buy one....hope the wifes in a good mood after. Definate A++++ For Kenwood!!!
I know I just bought one, and am quite satisfied with it..very low noise floor, easy to operate, and can configure about anything and everything from receive to transmit..
@Faroephoto i just ordered one from HRO anaheim,but don't have it yet, but obviously i made a good choice. i got it mainly for the 200w, but after reading all the reveiws about the receive,i can't wait till it gets here!!
