hi nice video :D I never seen the movie, but I want to now lol. I always wanted to go to Japan, mainly because I like japanese and the people seem friendly. It's always good to do something new.
i watched lost in translation a couple of days ago and i am literally mesmerized by Tokyo, it seems to have fully captured me, hence the reason for me watching this now :) it is now my dream in life to save up enough money to live at least a year of my life their, thank you so much for your videos.
@trevorferdy the main thing i am wondering is compared to england, how much does it cost to live out there (excluding rent), relative to english prices, eg food, transport, cigarettes etc (general things lol)
Fantastic ! this really took me back ! I lived there twice for a few years and your perceptions and images are so evocative for me. I was there 98-02 , was also very excited when I saw "Lost in translation" I never had a video camera in Japan and I really regret it !
i'm a musician and am going to major in audio production when i go to college, but i'm also going to study japanese as much as i can. the sights, the culture, fashion, EVERYTHING interests me. i've been watching documentaries and other vids such as this one all day. it would be beyond amazing to go there one day. ^_^
Japan is an extremely fascinating place to me. Which is strange because I can't see myself living there. Yet I would very much enjoy visiting. As long as I have the dough, haha.
mine and my best friends dream is to spend a year in japan, we are total anime freaks, we would be like children in a candy store, I'd probably fall to my knees and cry, and not believe it's real. it's be great
Trevor, you passed on the bug of wanting to travel to Japan. It's been brewing for years in my belly, but I didn't have the money to do so. Finally have the finance and am looking into a trip next year. Thanks for the nudge. Best, Jason.
I must say this video was very inspiring...And I like what you did with the filming, it sort of turned out to be a mini-documentary/indie flick very cool! I look forward to going to japan next month and possibly living there in the future..I too was inspired by their culture and way of life...aahhh japan gotta love it
I just came back from Tokyo. Check me out sometime. Peace!

DUDE U GOTTA TELL ME THE NAME OF UR SONGS!!!
otakuman600 1 year ago
Been there this summer, and the one regret I hold was that we didn't shoot 10 times more footage. So many things went undocumented.
Also, what's the song starting around 5:38?

Surprising nobody thought to just build a bridge for people to cross the road like they do in other countries.

By the way, the part where you take their note-board and improv a song and everyone applauds is great!
