  • I'm downloading Doctor Who music onto my phone because it's the only thing that makes me happy right now. I'm a bit upset but I'll get over it.

  • This makes me want to cry it's that said.

And as I guy...I am unashamed to admit that

  • It's actually called Vale, but whatever, thanks for posting this! Beautiful, heartbreaking song. :( David Tennant's ending as the Doctor was so tragic.

  • "I've gone too far! Is this it? Is this the day I die?"

"I'm not just a Time Lord. I'm the LAST of the Time Lords."

"If I could go back, if I could change what happened, if I could save them, Donna, I would, but I can't, I just can't."

"I could have done SO MUCH MORE... It's not FAIR!"

"Sometimes I think a Time Lord lives too long."

    "I don't want to go!"

"The universe will sing you to your sleep."

We're still singing, Doctor. And we always will be. Vale Decem. Goodbye.

  • Sooo good. I really like Matt but I can't imagine him pulling off the "Timelord Victorious" scene like David.

  • thank you sooooo much ive been looking for this song!

  • That music is so haunting. Really enjoyed it thanks

  • who else wants a crossover between matt smith and david tennant?

  • the ending of david tennants doctor made me so sad and angry!!! i want him back!! he was freaking amazing!

  • this music is so beautiful

  • Honestly, I think this is the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard. I absolutely love it.

It is so eerie and so heartbreaking. This scene was one of the most memorable and powerful scenes (more-so than his death)

Doctor Who is perhaps the greatest show I have ever seen!

  • I miss ten (David Tennant) :( o.0 I can hear the birds tweeting dream lord...

  • Behind this piece of music, there is so much emotion. There's a phrase a picture holds a million words, that's exactly how I feel about this music. This scene was one of the saddest in the whole of Russel T Davies Era and I felt so sad for the Doctor, when he says 'Is it time my death?'

  • Timelord Victorious, striked fear into me... of what the doctor had become. The MASTER of time and space. I couldn't watch Doctor Who unless it was with Rose!

  • i would of liked david tennent to do season 5 and 6 before he left but its ok because matt smith did them brillantly - i have to say when he first appered from regeneration i fought he was JIM CARREY-

  • He was Time Lord Victorious and now he wears bowties

Only in Doctor Who would that make sense

  • I think The Valiant should be brought back but with new ideas(solar energy?), it was a beautiful piece of work which I admired until in The Stolen Earth when the Daleks destroyed it. I think this could've really upset The Doctor because it was his last connection to the master whom gave his life to save the doctors after all the hardship he put the doctor through in the old series.

If I ever got the chance to design a air carrier, The Valiant would be my initial idea.

  • lol i heard that Tardis!!!!!

  • Gadget, gadget!!

  • Tennant was a great Doctor, but people need to get the fuck over it and move on. Christ.

  • The date, November 21, 2059

  • Thought Tennant was great but wouldn't trade Matt for him not for a second

  • David Tennant Will Always be my Doctor. <3

  • its too late to bring back david. well mabye for one episode. :(

  • @jooge12 What I'm really waiting for is hopefully going to be an episode 1 day called "The 13 Doctors." or an episode to that effect where right at the end of the Doctor's "current" set of regenerations they bring All the old Doctor's back as a mourning tribute to the life of an impossible Time Lord

  • @sykeassai they did that a couple of years ago as a christmas special then David Tennant was still The Doctor for the Actors that had died they used old footage to put them in

  • the waters of mars was such a sad episode, and everything just got worse for ten after that.

  • its so sad

  • So there's this song, then there's this other one in the episodes "silence in the library" and "the forest of the dead" where it has this beautiful tune every so often when the doctor is encountered by River Song / Melody Pond. :D

  • The Doctor really scared me during this scene. At the moment, I seriously couldn't find ay difference between him and the Master. That was what got me.

  • @ClawSlasher1 The main difference is that The Doctor always tries to save people, to be fair. Even when he knows he's not supposed to. But yeah, pretty dark.

  • Gutted that David Tennant is gone. He was great....BUT Matt Smith doesn't disappoint! He's AMAZING!

  • My Friend told me this song was called Ood Song but i guess not

  • @luke30800 It's personal preference on what you want to call it really, there are so many titles for this piece it makes your head spin!

  • @MorbiusProductions i prefer your version of the title =)

  • Omg do not read if you have not seen the 4th episode of the new series but i was so pissed off when they went to the old tardis room and house deleted it. That s.o.b

  • the tenth doctors time was one of almost endless suffering leaving him with noone and forced to regenerate for anothers foolishness. he suffered so much that it must have felt like losing the timelords all over again. this would explain why the 11th doctor tries so hard to look for fun. he doesn't want to lose his friends again.

  • @AndrewTheMusher it also explains his unwillingness to kiss amy, instead focusing on bringing her together with rory. He's so much more focused on the puzzle, so much more alien than 10 was, because of all the suffering he's gone through. I think if 11 had hooked up with Amy straight away it would've been disrespectful of all his losses and pain he went through. Ultimately, no wonder the Master was everything he had left. In the end, all t'was left was a man in a box.

  • I'm crying. Today, I watched Waters of Mars, End of Time Part I and II. David, u r my best doctor! Come back pleeeaseeeeee. :(

  • @bwerhoest Many including myself feel your pain! :(

  • @MorbiusProductions i agree with the 2 of u, but it is only because of DT, his acting, and the way the show was put together that we all feel the same. Dr Who is an awesome show and DT is my doctor too =)

  • @bwerhoest it aint the best doctor

  • Where exactly is this? I think it's right at the end water of mars right?

I bought The Fate of Little Adelaide from Itunes and it's not on there *cries*

  • @bookworm2007 you need to buy Vale, which is number 20-odd. :') Love it :D

  • Nice

  • I have 2 hearts... But why cant i regnerate :(

  • Gnawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

  • the end is nigh

  • Can't get this out of my head, which means I can't stop crying, nightmeres again tonight :(

  • Cool Video :)

  • i thought this music was released on the specials soundtrack and was called 'Vale' it was different to 'Vale Decem' and it was on the end of time section because it played over his farewells to his companions

  • @BowTiesRCool It is, but I made this only a few days after the release of the End of Time part 2, when the specials sountrack was nowhere to be found. At the time I thought Timelord Victorious was a good name for the track, & personally still do :) But that's just me

  • ive got this song on my ipod and they call it vale but timelord victorious is a great name

  • I know it wouldn't have worked in the long run, but I personally wouldn't have minded if the BBC had dumped all their plans for Doctor Who, and just had the Doctor become the Time Lord Victorious for a couple of seasons- seeing him drunk with power was one of the coolest things ever!

Same thing for End of Time- I'd have been perfectly fine if they'd said "screw Gallifrey, screw Earth, let's just have Doctor and Master travelling the universe together, being awesome!"

Ah, well. In Moff we trust!

  • @DragonSporks In Moff I DON'T Trust, I've given up after seeing the 11th Hour.

  • @AllanMarks888 II actually think Moff is an okay writer I prefered Davies by far though. But still we will always have torchwood won't we.

  • those mars creatures are the only creatures that have ever scared me on doctor who, oh and the weeping angels.

  • @AlmightyGidge5991 have you seen the Silence in season 6 yet? :S

  • Comment removed

  • this music brings a tear to my eye

  • This song tugs at my heartstrings.

  • @krazygrl890 i don't think you're alone there!

  • And when you walk in your last days... you never really finish, just you and a lonely Universe... more secrets than wisdom.

  • @granddad2002 who said that?

  • Cant seem to find this on the official soundtrack cd for the four specials. Anyone know why? or am i just being deaf? :)

  • Notice the similarities to the regular theme? Four beats (two hearts of a Time Lord) with a higher-pitched melody played over the top.

  • lovely tune ty for posting it :-)

  • Adelaide, the only companion who killed oneself, making her the darkest companion (one-off). The music really suits what happened at the end of Waters of Mars.

  • I didn't grew up with David as the Doctor (because I don't live in England) but he is also my favourite :-)

  • @Iriacinte well to be honest ... he was 2005 - 2009 ... so only the little kids will have "grown up" with him as the Doctor. He was the first Doctor I saw ... but though season 4 is my favourite, I will always love Eccleston and Matt Smith just as much :)

  • @FireflyFanatic3 you're right. I think it is also because of Donna Noble.

  • @Iriacinte yeah def. she was by far my favourite companion

Rose was brilliant with Eccelston, but it was just cheesy when it was her and Tennant ... Martha was distinctly mediocre and I'm not really sure what to think of Amy Pond. Donna kicks ass! lol :)

  • @FireflyFanatic3 I always think that Martha had the best stories, Donna the best attitude (and was the best compagnion), Rose the best relation with the doctor.

I agree about Amy. She's different, but I love Rory!! And River ^_^

  • @Iriacinte oh tell me about it - Rory is AMAZING! lol

As for River Song ... I'm never really sure what to make of her. I LOVED the woman we met in the library, but I really feel that she's a totally different character in this series ... ah well, at least I know who she will become and what she will do

LOVE this music btw ... it's now a part of the most epic and amazing playlist of Dr Who music! :)

  • @FireflyFanatic3 You KNOW? how do you mean you KNOW? You can't know until they broadcast. Uh I think.

Indeed the music is epic. I have the CD <3. I want the CD from the series 5 too, but the double CD isn't out were I live. So I have to wait until my mother orders Merlin season 3, than I can order too ^_^

  • @Iriacinte because her story ends before the Doctor's began - when we met her in the Library. We do know that she sacrifices herself for the Doctor. She punches him out, handcuffs him, then gives her life that he might live to meet her and love her. So from the very beginning, before we or the Doctor met River Song for real, met her somewhere else in the timeline, when he "knew" her, he (and we) will always have known that that's how it ends. He's always known how she's going to die.

  • @FireflyFanatic3 But you don't know the whole story. You only know the ending. To get to the hart of the story you have to go back to the beginning ^_^

But on the other end... I guess you do know how it ends

  • Great music

  • nice....

  • The lady in the background who keeps bothering Wilfred. Doc takes a look at her in the line-up and you *know* he's thinking, "Are you my mummy?"

  • Ah, Ten... I wonder if it's only too noble a failing of a hero to suffer from such hubris. To carry so much pain and guilt, to fear your end, convinced that there's still so much you can do.

To be filled with such a burning desire to see to it that nobody has to hurt anymore that somewhere along the line you actually manage to convince yourself that maybe you can break the rules, and that maybe you *can* save everybody. It doesn't work like that. But we don't love you any less for trying.

  • @heavyarms01h ... And then you turn in up in a bowtie looking coooooooooooool. How the mighty fall. XD

  • @bindiyay Don't forget the fez! Fezzes are cool! I know a lot of people were worried when Matt Smith was cast - guess that's inevitable when you've learned that there's a new Doctor coming - but Eleven is turning out to be just as epic as Ten was, in his own way. =D

  • @heavyarms01h david tenant ftw he pwnt as the doctor !

  • @heavyarms01h david tennant ftw he pwnt as the doctor !

  • OH NO! I press the dislike button! SORRY ><

    I'm such a Dalek!

  • @hayaterza it's okey, as long as it was a mistake my friend :D

  • @hayaterza my friend keeps pressing the dislike button on this, who does he think he is the master?

  • Oh, I recognize this song. :C

  • @alphamask978 but vale decem means farewell ten when translated, so...

  • Did the Master and Omega dislike this?

  • ok I admit its a better name than vale

  • I orderd the CD just for this theme and God was I disappointed... The instrumental part at the beginning (which is actually what I like) has been shortened and it goes bonkers at the end...

They did the same with "Doomsday" (the piano starts too early on the CD)...

I really don't understand why they don't use the pieces of music made for the show and choose to record them differently instead....

  • the paralel earth master must have pressed the dislike button

  • Comment removed

  • @ritzy583 download the full doctor who specials album its on there called vale.. quality track

  • @angellisvamp - the first minute or so isnt included in the track which is quite disappointing

  • Rrrr, it irritates me that this variation isn't on the soundtrack. :/ Isn't that always the way, just like the original Song for Ten wasn't on the soundtrack. x| Anyways, least I can listen to this version on here even though it isn't perfect. :)

  • Dude the track is called vale not timelord victorious

  • @Alphamask978 this track was on here way before they evn released it with a track name .. thats why the uploader called it timelord victorious.. . i myself kinda like it .. better name than vale

  • The waters of mars things and the weeping angles are the only creatures that minorly scared me in the entire history of dw. The others are cool, just not scary. Gotta be watchable for kids though so xD. I am 15 and I honestly have to look away at times xD

  • the master pressed the dislike button

  • @FPSbunkerbill Oh don't get me started on that guy :D

  • @MorbiusProductions ik hes a walking nuclear bomb

  • @FPSbunkerbill there are 2 dislikes

  • @Gametuber94

Secound is president of Gallifrey :P

  • @FPSbunkerbill six times? It must have been during the end of time episodes...

  • @timtuttle1 it was only a few months ago

  • The Specials ROCK!

  • not trying to be offensive to anyone here but if the americans did doctor who it would be absolutely crap and would not last 47 minutes let alone years.Just stating the obvious.

  • @FPSbunkerbill lol the movie is proof of this

  • If I'm not mistaken the name of the song is in fact Vale. (Should be the first track of the SPecials Soundtrack)

  • @Kraahkan We'll wait & see :)

  • @MorbiusProductions Agreed too, since there are two "Vale" :P October 4th can never come fast enough (Damn for pushing it back >_<)

  • @Kraahkan Oh god I know!! Been waiting ages for it to be released!

  • One of the many reasons why The Waters of Mars was a must-see classic. The soundtrack captured all the emotions. Murray truly struck Gold yet again.

  • @MrDCWood Clue's in the name XD

  • This Is So Beautiful. :''D

  • @123Iloveturtles123 :D I think so too

  • Can someone please upload the music heard when the doctor is wealking away from the base and subsequently returns and changes things.

I think the tracks are Turn left and all the strange, strange creatures. Can someone pleasse rip the segment from the episode.

  • Make me cry coz David T goes... frikin Donna's granddad killed da doc ;(

  • @mahirakool :( It's always the people u least expect

  • this video is good lol

  • why does all the doctor who music have to be so sad.??? :) its brilliant but makes me cry every time!!!!

  • @TheFireHawk7, it agree, but Moffatt should stick to writing Sherlock rather that doing both at the same time

  • Love it!

  • @daedalus71 i suppose but some of the episodes don't have the standard as when russell directed and wrote them

  • @morbiusproductions, that's very true, why did they have to get rid of DT, DAMN U BBC!! >8-(

  • @thegrandfather100 David was the one who decided to go, so he'd remember his time on Doctor Who as a fantastic experience & a privalige & not something that he got tired of & dreaded doing.

  • @thegrandfather100 Also, with Russel Davies and other key production team members leaving, he decided this was as good a time to go as any.

I think it was a good time for him to go. I miss him, but Matt Smith is also great.

  • @thegrandfather100 It's exceptionally irritating, but DT had been the Doctor for 4-5 years and most actors move on from the doctor role. It's a bit like Bond, actors don't like being typecast. Besides, the real loss is R. T. Davies. Moffat is very good but not as good as R.T. Davies.

  • tell u what tho, this is gallifrey, doomsday music and vale decem all bring tears to mye eyes and so do the words "I don't want to go" so very upsetting :'(

  • @thegrandfather100 Very true mate, but there's always one that hits you hardest, in this case for me, either this song, or vale decem.

  • @MorbiusProductions no sense

  • @MorbiusProductions no sense b

  • @thegrandfather100 i agree;(

  • @thegrandfather100 i know :'(

  • This series had so much more potential.

Tennant was awesome, the music was awesome, just fucking Russel......

  • beautiful. i would like this sort of music to be a part of series 5 and 6 now

  • =[ if only he wanted to do 1 more series. we could find out more about river song and more about the doctor. He left soon after i started watching every episode again on youtube too, and to make it even better, I had to wait 3 years just for 4 new specials and even though they were great i still feel like there could have been more, and he left too soon. mind you, most of us wernt prepared for him to leave. and to anyone gonna troll this comment. wow your cool, trolling a comment on the internet

  • Like everyone else, My Doctor will be the one I grew up with and The 10th Doctor will always be my favourite, Matt IS a good doctor however I prefer David...still Torchwood Season 4 has been confirmed and the americans will probably fuck it up like they normally do with british dramas

    :(

  • @TheRedGoldfish So true!

  • @MorbiusProductions wait... torchwood is fantastic. and us American's have ambition but a majority of our population is ignorant and it's a joke, plus the mass media portrays America crudely because of the few but great atrocities we commit. I mean we did invent the television (for better or for worse) so we can now enjoy the Doctor and what have you.

  • @MorbiusProductions +don't forget our programs are more strictly censored than other countries so we have to be a much more suppressed when it comes to art.

  • @Wi11Trick I see your point there, I have no intention to offend you in any way, so if anything came across as offensive I do apologise. I seriously see what you mean about the censoring in the US, it's a little drastic in terms of things you can & can't say, but that's just my opinion. What do you think about it?

  • @MorbiusProductions I think it's Ironic that we have the freedom of speech when organizations like this suppress art and whatnot to keep a child's mind clean. haha i mean they're intentions are kinda impossible with the internet and all, although they do also censor the internet lmao. oh well, still a great place.

  • @TheRedGoldfish Never fear! Russell T Davies is still in charge!

  • @TheRedGoldfish Britian is no better than America, achtully it makes britans Worse than Americans becouse ur talking trash about them, it makes u worse in ur point of veiw, and i bet u britans proabbly mess up our Drama's also, so stop being Arogant!

  • @masterdobyoby Mate, don't start an arguement, that's the last thing I want, spammed out inbox with comments about this, so please, stop before it starts :)

  • @MorbiusProductions I agree, masterdobyoby, youre making a big deal out of nuthin, just calm down and get on wiv ure life. Prob's didont help, oh well. MorbiousProductio's, I love this vidoo well done and thank-you, it's been liked favorated and playlisted :) x

  • @ReskellLaifGreyl Thanks for your help anyways & I really appreciate the favourite :) Doesn't really come across on comments but I really do :)

  • @TheRedGoldfish I think the amercans wanted to do a sereis were jack wasn't gay rtd & jack said ..... NO!!!

  • @naztardis His character is bi not gay

  • @vickistarlet well argue with the writer who created him and argue with john not with me!!!!!!

  • @TheRedGoldfish

Ummm the brit are filming it in america otherwise the staff wotking on it's same asi the one working on 1.2 and children of blody earth dam those bastard for killing Ianto........did i just say that?

  • @TheRedGoldfish you know we will! yes i said we im american and it bothers me how everyone here does that! hopefully we wont though.

  • @TheRedGoldfish AFAIK we did a good job with The Office.

  • @TheRedGoldfish The British managed to do that themselves until Children of Earth came out.

  • The Doctor's Theme would always bring tears to my eyes, but this just makes me cry even more. Thank you for uploading. Such a beautiful, but sad piece of music. :(

  • @timegirl95 No problem, I feel the same way about it :)

  • doctor who = best tv series of all time (FACT) id like to see if any one can name a tv series where the actural main charector changes and still manages to keep the momentum of the show going

  • @craigputtock So true!

  • @craigputtock Primeval

  • @craigputtock merlin lol jking

  • @mw2nukes1 lol yeah Merlin is amazing. I like it more than Dr Who in the fifth series ... I'm not sure about series 4 of Dr Who though ... they're probably equal :P lol

But what is amazing about Dr Who like @craigputtock said ... there is no other TV series that has gone on for this long, and continued to be successful, when the main character(s) continue to change.

    :)

  • Every1 said the monsters weren't scary, but 2 b fair were any of the ppl reviewing it professionally or otherwise acually eight yrs old. I would've been creeped out if i'd seen the Flood at 8 yrs old. As an adult I found them still creepy and psychologically scary. However for me the most disturbing moment in the episode was when the Doctor became the Time Lord Victorious
