Ok, he's 60db over S9 (according to that meter) with 2kw. S-meters are supposed to be calibrated to 6db per s-point, and each 6db is 4 times the power. Do the maths, and you'll see he'd be at that end of the meter with 100 watts, and still well over S9 with 10 watts. That yagi alone would get him out. Running 2kw on 11 metres is not only plenty illegal, it's dangerous, antisocial and irresponsible. Would you want him next door? Linears that size serve nothing but egos.

there aint no glory of being a mud duck either. but to each its own qrp and qro has its advantages, as you could hear there aint nobody traying to qrm that strong signal. reduce power and you get jam with noise from the idiots. if you got it use it!!!!!
