Lakers finished a playoff game against sacramento back in '01 and four hours after it finished, the kings played the avalanche. amazing how fast the arena crew changes it, though that's not the case here.

It's also interesting that it only takes about a little over an hour-and-a-half to change the floor at Staples. You would think it would take longer than that.

@mustang6172 The Lakers have more courtside seats so their scorers table is shorter to allow for the seats between the team benches and the table. IE, Jack Nicholson. Also, the Lakers use a completely different set of lights for their court set up than the clippers do.

Los Angeles is lucky to have a senior division A championship team, and a junior, division B exhibition house league team. Lakers are the premium show. But for a lower price, clippers are the second offering for LA area basketball fans who want to watch some NBA games. Perfect business sense!

We have Staples Center, Forum, Sports Arena, Coliseum, Dodgers Stadium & Rose Bowl. So when the Lakers arent playing, there's a lot to see and do. Then there's theatres, performance halls like the Hollywood Bowl, Greek, Palladium, Universal Ampitheatre, Comedu Clubs, Etc.
