When I first heard them, I compared them to old rave bands. They were the start of this 'nu rave' thing.

But their second album wasn't nu rave.

Interesting video, but even though I really liked "Love Like Semtex" there's nothing catchy about this song, nothing to hold on to. The melody of the vocals are indifferent, and the accompanying music does little to change that. Probably the reason Infadels never broke into the mainstream (and they probably never will as you can easily tell apart the new Death Cab for Cutie or Modest Mouse...)

I saw the video a few times, thought it was brilliant!

But i wasn't paying very much attention to the song ... didn't know if it was very good, and thought it was quite boring ...

HOWEVER, after listening to the song on it's own, have come to realise that it's bloddddy brilliant too.
