  • 3:12 - 3:27 has got to be the hardest part (for me anyway) and you just flew through it with only one tiny little mistake!! You are amazing!! You also do a good job of playing it like it's fun and easy. Keep up the good work!

  • i am playing this~ lol

  • Wow, this is very good !!!!

  • ..good Lord.:)

  • D;; I CANT PLAY THISS

  • dude, how old was she when she started, 1?!

  • dude....im 13 and im playing this. wow. o.O

  • I'm 13 now and just starting to practice this, she's a prodigy violinist !!

  • continuously press 1, control the rate of the pressing so that the pianist does the hand wave!

  • I don't know how does she do to play so well ? Her play is very fluid, there's some mistakes at the beginning, but after at the first line it sounds very clearly

  • you go girl! she's so cute!

  • lol im 15 and im just startin this... but then agen...i started late

  • ill be lucky if i can ever play this song as good as she did :(

  • Why doesn't the pianist memorize the piece too?

  • @bluecobra95 borf the important is that he plays the piece correctly. But if he was the soloist then he would have to memorize it.

  • que linda!! ^^^ xD me parece demasiado tierna y sin duda toca muy bien :)

  • amazing, i think that i will give up with this concert..

  • In fact I played at that same concert 2 years ago

  • She has the same violin teacher I had one year ago!!!

  • For her age, it was outstanding. But, there were several issues which I would blame on her private teacher for suggesting/not fixing:

2:20 a difficult and bad shift to do. There is almost no way to complete the shift without hearing the slide.

2:40 a simple rhythm error which should've been corrected by her teacher

Other than that, there were minor intention issues, but for an 8 y.o., It was simply amazing.

  • @ctgartland The shift at 2:20 isn't a bad shift to do. You would do that same shift on any Flesch 3 octave scale pattern. I do agree about the rhythm at 2:40 though. She played it as triplets instead of the 2 sixteenths and eighth note.

However, this is nothing short of amazing.

  • she's amazing but she already haves her bow too tight

  • amazing......she is amazing

  • holy moly.

  • im 14 and im playing this piece... ahaha

  • @tokiobabes411 me tooo >.<

  • @tokiobabes411 haha same here

  • @tokiobabes411 Same here, I'm playing it for an audition in a month, shoot me.

  • wow!

  • This girl will be quite good someday if she keeps at it. She already does quite a few things better than most young violinists. (Note her posture, control of her bow, some grasp of dynamics, good shifting....)

    Excellent video.

While so many kids today think Guitar Hero makes them into musicians, this girl is actually learning something about music. Congrats to her, and kudos to her parents for raising her well.

  • I feel like the piano guy was rushing but it might be my imagination. she's amazing though I can play all the notes but they aren't nearly as clean and ringing as hers

  • I am playing this song, also. But... I am 11 years old! Great job!

  • wow.. WOW!!!

    simply AMIZING!!!

    cant believe it yet...

  • It's very good, but you dont play the "fortissimo and the piannissimo"... Too bad...

  • Hmm i'm 14 but this girl play much better than me ;]

  • I'm 9 years old and I'm studing this dificult concert. I love to watch your videos. You are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;-)

  • hahaha it is funny how people always seem to clap in the middle of a pause in the piece! She did really well and I am performing this piece in a couple of days. Way to go! Such inspiration!

  • shes in my class o.0

  • You lucky duck!!! Wish I could meet her! ;)

  • great

  • Sei bravissima!!!

    Complimenti!!!

  • dang, i have uil competition in a wk and i am no where near this XD

  • BRAVAAAA(: 5 starz 4 u

  • shes in my class omfg

  • :0 ...

I can't play this damn piece for my life then a 8 year old just shows me up like this wow, amazing.

  • D: I am 13! and I'm playing this song! argh, makes me feel like I suck. I bet she'll be first chair for IMEA (or whatever MEA) when she gets to 6th grade -_-. And I'm considered good for my age -_- ... I feel like I suck now... when did she start?

  • woow. que talento... pos supuesto algunos detalles pero muuuy muy bien. muchas felicidades. y muy buena tecnica, en especial de la mano derecha.

  • I hate it when they clap in between your piece. But she was great! She seemed to really enjoy it too. I hope I can play this piece just as good as her. I'm just starting to learn this piece. :) Listen to the whole thing guys it gets better and better.

  • im pretty sure they didnt deliberately interrupt the piece with clapping. they most likely thought it was the end of the piece, since she phrased the end of that phrase so nicely and dramatically. Anyone whos not used to listening to classical music would assume so in solo concertos. During my recitals, the parents would clap often in the middle thinking it was the end :x

  • yeah, waaaay better than me.

  • at least.... 100x better than me -_-

  • ohmygod..XD how does she do the part in 5:27?!?!?!?! The slurs are freakin' impossible o.o"

  • I know :O ... I can't get through that part without restarting ... at least 5 times. And even then, it sounds ... like 1. It's too soft and 2. some kind of weird double/triple stop -_-

  • i know right!! i can NOT get it no matter how many times i try... slow... break it down! noyhing. im hoping i don't have to do that part for auditions!! (January 26th) i have to lear all 4 pages and im still stuck on page 2! :p ahh

  • @Ruivyn They are not impossible! That is easy! :) Well.... for me! I have been playing since I was 3 years old.

  • @violintwilightsaga28 so.. isn't this a piece too easy for someone that has been playing for 7 years?

  • @artthinkers It isn't too easy. I have to have it as a warm-up piece. :)

  • @Ruivyn jaja xD i know, umm practicing them slowly?

  • @Ruivyn I know, right???

  • Gosh...this makes me feel so inferior...I need to practice, practice, practice if I can even dream of being that good T.T

  • I know how u feel... In a year, she goes from playing suzuki book 6 to paganini's La Campanella??? This girl is such an inspiration!

  • @TheSingingViolinist

Liszt wrote L:a Campanella as a Piano Study

  • I'm also playing this song and I got to admit, that was AWESOME!

  • Wow she's better than I am :O

  • Hi Qingyu! That was excellent. Keep up the wonderful work. 5/5

  • WOW that was amazing! she is on her way to stardom. wow wow wow. she played as well as an experienced violin music major and shes only 8. incredible!
