luchozzzz no sabes ni lo que dices .. Oliver es de lo mejor de la salsa no son vueltas a lo loco tiene su sentido y su dificultad para hacerlas, quisiera ver que tu sacaras una secuencia, se me hace que bailas cumbia y te sientes bien realizado en las pistas de baile saludos

Salsa dancers must be great at math!...Always counting and shhhstuff. This guy can dance salsa with las mujeres sin duda! ...and they seem to really enjoy it. I must say that I have not seen a bad salsa video of this guy yet (dammit, help me!)...anyway, this guy has been the smoothest salsa dancer I've seen on youtube (I have yet to see myself on here, so...). Anyone care to dispute this, feel free to show me a smoother male salsa lead (video)...holla!

Check out Alex Da Silva, Nery Garcia or Fernando Sosa. All very smooth dancers.

Alex Da Silva is smooth...to the rhythm of his OWN beat. He is good, great, at what he does apparently. His style fits that other spectrum of what is being called salsa. I am not able to compare Alex Da Silva to Oliver Pineda for contrasting styles.... Now Fernando Sosa is more comparable...both great social dancers but I have to give the nod to Pineda at this point. holla!

@blackycrawford I don't agree that Sosa is a smooth dancer. He is a tremendous salsa dancer but his style isn't smooth. It is very explosive.

@DaStr8skinny Nery Garcia & Fernando Sosa are smooth too tho I think Oliver Pineda has the edge probably because he tries to dance within his partner's comfort & skill zone,.. if the girl's comfortable then he'll look good, also it helps being 5 times world champion, he doesn't feel he needs to impress any one/girl so dances from the heart instead of for "show"

Oliver totally drops it to the partner level. and thats a huge difference between him and the others.. plus people might watch Nery or Darlin or Gaby dancing and start comparing. In the matter of fact social dancing is not how to rate top dancers. It is all about enjoying and having fun. Like if you see some of Frankie Martinez social dancing videos, you would think he is a beginner while he could be a hall of fame.
