I loved STPs last album from 2001. It sounds a lot like their original stuff. I don't know about the drugs with Weiland. He wrote a lot of the great stuff on drugs.

I loved STPs last album from 2001. It sounds a lot like their original stuff. I don't know about the drugs with Weiland. He wrote a lot of the great stuff on drugs.

Never said Maynard left Tool, just that he should leave all his focus on the main band. Also never said the bands sound alike. Just music evolves. Elvis, Pink Floyd, Doors, Metallica (or G-N-R), STP, Linkin Park,Slipknot. Everything evolves. Basically what i'm saying is there would not be a Ford Mustang without there being a Model T. When it comes down to it, you just do not like 80's rock. And if Sum 41 sells a bunch of records, They must be popular. They're shit to me, but opinions differ.

You do not believe there is a chain of influences that relates all rock? If not, you're being ignorant. And you can list any band with one another, because at one time or another ALL music is pop. But it all relates to an individuals taste. That is the beauty of music. It's what you like.
