The Welfare system is a good idea. It just needs to be revamped. As it stands now the ONLY people who qualify have more kids than they can handle and no other source of income. Fetuses are dependent on their mother for survival and don't develop consciousness/emotions until the third trimester(almost all abortion happen in the first and second trimesters). Cows and chickens can survive on their own. They aren't using another life form's body to survive.
I'm not a vegetarian. I eat meat all the time but your argument is easily refuted.

Depends on a person's reasons for being a vegetarian. If "killing" is the reason, then your claim makes sense, but other than that, equating one's diet with political identities is a fail. I'm sure many Democrats aren't vegetarian and some Republicans are.
