If you collect all 100 Stray Beads like I have, it increases your power x10, infinite ink and you're invincible. So it's easy to beat Yami in 5 minutes with the stray beads xD

Er, well, it depends... If you watched my playthroughs you should be able to tell how long.

Though after you get into the whirl pool and beat the mini-dungeon, you'll have a couple boss fights and then you'll get to another dungeon with a big boss fight. After all that, you'll go to Kamui, and then after a lot of cutscenes you'll go through a forest and then get into the past.

(I'm only at the bit where you first meet Himiko...XD, But your videos have helped me ALOT... I've only been playing this game for a few hours each day for 3 days, and last time I came this far it took me forever!XD)
