Truvia is hardly Stevia based when it's the second ingredient listed. Actually it's Erythritol based and cut with Stevia and flavoring.

Erythritol does affect blood sugar levels but on a much lower glycemic level then sugar. In addition to that it's known to cause abdominal cramping or worse when just a few servings are ingested.

Stay away from garbage sweeteners such at this that are attempting to portray themselves are Stevia, and just stick with actual Stevia.

I've never had an issue with erythritol and the blend with stevia tastes much better and less bitter than pure stevia.

Pity it's made in conjuction with coca-cola, a company I like to avoid, otherwise I would've like to have tried this product...

I understand where you're coming from. But the Truvia product itself isn't associated with Coca-Cola, but rather Cargill Foods. Coke has released anything major with Truvia in it yet.  At the very least, I can appreciate that they want to provide a more natural option for people desiring a diet soda. THANKS for your comments!

@livinlowcarbman Actually, Truvia is marketed by Cargill, but was developed by Cargill AND Coca-Cola.

I am a Truvia lover, I tried to spread the word about this fantastic product.

I will never try any other all natural sweetener, I don't like Stevia is bitter by itself, I love Truvia because it is like granules. I saw you first episode on Truvia which made me go out and try it, and now I always buy it and only Truvia, I hope they sell it other than packets soon. I love the packaging, very sturdy.

I've bought stevia at my grocery store before. Must have been a while back when they didn't allow it. I never did tryt he truvia I guess i'm stubburn and prefer to stick to my liquid stevia.
