I know this is weird...but I feel seriously uncomfortable when i wear anything more than mascara, a little liner and chapstick. Liner, to me, is "pushing it" not because it is extreme, but that's as far as I'll go. I feel pretty with moisturized eyes (yes, eyes, put some moisturizer on your eyelids, and the look bright and dewyi) and lips. Yay for minimalism! :]

Did you notice that the majority of posters here that prefer you without make up are female? Either they suck at applying it or they don't like the competition! Most of us (straight) guys prefer you make an attempt to look pretty for us. It has always irked me when girlfriends take more effort to look good for work than they do for a date.
I am seriously turned off of girls who wear makeup as an every day thing, sure if your going out to a party/bar/club or upscale restaurant thats sort of a dress code. However the only makeup i would ever find attractive on an every day basis is mascara as it highlights the eye.

There are 4 basic reasons why men say they like you better without makeup. 1. You complain when we try to kiss you we will mess up your face. 2. Guys think it's a compliment to tell you this because its a way of saying they find you beautiful without actually saying it! 3. The more attractive you look, the more other guys will look at you! We DON'T want other guys looking at you! If some guys had their way, they'd keep you in a burka! 4. Makeup trails are hard to hide from the wife!
You are absolutely right! I am a guy and here's my take! You definitely look better with makeup. Those who say otherwise are either blind or clueless. You have nice features to begin with and the makeup only enhances what's allready there! If you are proficient in applying it (and you obviously are) it really looks great! If you have no skill with eyeliner and a lipstick and you end up looking like a circus clown, then no, we'd prefer you without it! You look pretty before but beautiful after!
try putting much less make up. then you would feel secure, but you wouldn't look like a doll. little bit mascara, little bit lip gloss and blush. and that would look nice ;)

You look great without makeup because your eyes are already dark and your skin is already tan... for people who have light eyes/light eyelashes and a washed out complexion, makeup is always helpful
o and btw I think you look better with a little makeup on, not much, like say eyeliner and alittle lip gloss. So I suppose " somewhere in between" would suite you, but thats just my opinion.
some girls just look better without makeup and some look totally different with it, it all depends. Sometimes the girl with makeup just looks better than the girl without makeup, it has nothing to do with wearing it or not, if they look better they just do...and on the other hand the girl without makeup could just look better than the girl with. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but most when looking for beauty are looking for personallity and certain features like: nice eyes, nose, hair ect

From my experience, it doesn't make a great difference if you are wearing make-up or not, what does make a difference for guys to notice you, is clothing and styling.
You go out with comfy clothing ( hoodie, tee, jeans, all-stars) and go out of the house with something figure-hugging(e.g. a nice top) or more skin-revealing (a cute dress to show off your legs) and the total must: high heels.
THE DIFFERENCE IS HUGE.

i think that guys like girls with make up on because they look prettier with it on at first, U know the first impression with make up is like wow, but i also see why guys say they like them to look natural is just that they don't want to see this gorgeous girl and wake up next to her looking like one of their homeboys. I say natural all the way because natural appearances don't change and when wearing make up it doe's change you have to keep putting it on and stuff. Confidence is key :)

Perhaps overly confident guys generally flock around girls with make up, 'cus those girls project an attitude which entails that I'm DESPERATE FOR ATTENTION! Plus, she wears glasses and just pins her up in some lopped style, nothing fancy. She does however have amazing genetics, aka her jawline, cheeks and head shape are very pleasing to the eye. To be honest, it comes down to what their into. I like women who's cells divided properly, and have strong symmetric attributes like the jawline

IMO there ARE correlating factors in guys hitting on the madeup girls. Makeup tends to give girls more confidence, for starters. I also suspect that girls who are already attractive are more likely to wear makeup (just a theory - any girls want to weigh in on this one?).

I know this is weird...but I feel seriously uncomfortable when i wear anything more than mascara, a little liner and chapstick. Liner, to me, is "pushing it" not because it is extreme, but that's as far as I'll go. I feel pretty with moisturized eyes (yes, eyes, put some moisturizer on your eyelids, and the look bright and dewyi) and lips. Yay for minimalism! :]

Did you notice that the majority of posters here that prefer you without make up are female? Either they suck at applying it or they don't like the competition! Most of us (straight) guys prefer you make an attempt to look pretty for us. It has always irked me when girlfriends take more effort to look good for work than they do for a date.

I am seriously turned off of girls who wear makeup as an every day thing, sure if your going out to a party/bar/club or upscale restaurant thats sort of a dress code. However the only makeup i would ever find attractive on an every day basis is mascara as it highlights the eye.

There are 4 basic reasons why men say they like you better without makeup. 1. You complain when we try to kiss you we will mess up your face. 2. Guys think it's a compliment to tell you this because its a way of saying they find you beautiful without actually saying it! 3. The more attractive you look, the more other guys will look at you! You are absolutely right! I am a guy and here's my take! You definitely look better with makeup. Those who say otherwise are either blind or clueless. You have nice features to begin with and the makeup only enhances what's allready there! If you are proficient in applying it (and you obviously are) it really looks great! If you have no skill with eyeliner and a lipstick and you end up looking like a circus clown, then no, we'd prefer you without it! You look pretty before but beautiful after!

From my experience, it doesn't make a great difference if you are wearing make-up or not, what does make a difference for guys to notice you, is clothing and styling.
You go out with comfy clothing ( hoodie, tee, jeans, all-stars) and go out of the house with something figure-hugging(e.g. a nice top) or more skin-revealing (a cute dress to show off your legs) and the total must: high heels.
THE DIFFERENCE IS HUGE.
Same person, different clothing, and guys notice you. True story :)

Did the guys who flock to made up broads say they don't like a lot of makeup? I know a woman who wears no foundation, because I can see her freckles, which I love! Plus, she wears glasses and just pins her up in some lopped style, nothing fancy. She does however have amazing genetics, aka her jawline, cheeks and head shape are very pleasing to the eye. It's pretty simple - you said it at the beginning "I hate when girls wear a LOT of makeup". You can wear tons of makeup so long as you don't look like you are. Simple, no? :)
IMO there ARE correlating factors in guys hitting on the madeup girls. Makeup tends to give girls more confidence, for starters. I also suspect that girls who are already attractive are more likely to wear makeup (just a theory - any girls want to weigh in on this one?).
