growing up in the 80s, I remember Lydia Cornell's rack was responsible for a lot of first-time boners. Loni Anderson (circa WRKP) was also helping a lot of young Generation Xers pitch their first tents.
i love how ted knight falls off the couch at the end right on his face and then he gets up and the expression on his face is all like uhh what happened??? and that's the screenshot the creators used to say developed by! I love it!!! (i'm also a fan of Knight's cow puppet kissing him on the cheek, and jm j bullock sitting there like yep i'm a character on a wacky sitcom but i'm not gonna do anything too wacky here in the beg credits--nope!)
The episode where Monroe got raped by those two middle-aged spinster ladies F-ing SPOOKED me as a kid! I kid you not... they _actually_ did an episode where he got raped; MALE rape! I was a kid back then and I saw this. What a mindf**k!!! lol
I used to laugh like CRAZY when Ted Knight fell over that sofa!!! I haven't seen this show since it was originally aired.... I'd love to see it again!
Just the way I remember this show! Seriously, the WTAF TV 29 bumper adds to the nostalgic charm of seeing so many awesome intros from my childhood here!
yeah i was goin crazy cuz the song was stuck in my head but i couldn't think of the show 4 shit now i remember the faces and every thing.song is classic

First the dad comes up looking really happy and his hand puppet trys to mouth kiss him.
Then the mom turns around and looks really happy.
Then his super hot daughters come out, one with dark hair looking really happy.
Then the other daughter comes in with huge bazookas and looks really happy.
Then you've got Bullock who looks wimpy and sad, as if to say, "Yes, I'm on this show, too."
Watch him...doesn't he look like he is sad to be alive?

@kewanw16
No kidding!!! I guess I shouldn't be surprised since basically everything else is out on DVD anymore - LOL! Thanks for the info!

The theme was written by Johnny Mandel. I believe this is first season as it doesn't have the sting note at the end which was added later.

Deborah was hot back. I remember this show being on 29 in Philly. I was 8 back than.

Is it just me, or does the theme bear a certain similarity to Bobby Caldwell's "What You Won't Do for Love"?
