To me it sounds he sang with laryngitis. That is way you sound when you have something on your vocal cords.He should've probably cancel, but he went on to sing bravely despite being out of form.Don't judge him by such a peformance. He sang a storm during more than forty years onstage and many many of his performances both live and on record are unbeatable.He was truly a phenomenon.
