first of all get a downpipe that compressor will vreak ive had this experience, 2nd turboing a go cart wont work more air is being forced than more gas flow, its not making the piston work harder the extra air is just passing through the intake port to the exaust port, a suggestion is to rig up a high flow fuel pump to push more gas into carb. and maybe the turbo will have an effect

i bought the turbo from garrett, yeah i put bov. i disconnected the wastegate because the sping is set to 7psi and all i need for this engine is about 2 to 3 psi.

Dude you need the wastegate shut otherwise it will never boost. See that flap shaking on the turbo close up shot, thats it.

Is the turbo from a Chrysler lebaron or pt cruser as long as it is a small t3 it will work just fine, on your 6hp you don't want to be boosting more than 2 or 3 psi, you will need to toss away your carburator try to get one from a motorcycle or a 4 wheeler a big carb that will throw more fuel to compensate the crompress air coming from the turbo. You do not want to run the engine lean

I would run it about 1 1/2 to 2 psi, it sound like nothing but its a lot of air for your 150cc single cylinder motor, I'm running about 3 1/2 psi

you can also drill out the carb jet to inject more. thats basically how you make it an alcohol engine too.

hmm, looks like a brigs engine, or is that a Yamaha, coz im thinking of putting a small TD025 off an mitsubishi on my yamaha gokart, its arriving from japan in a week and dont realy know what yamaha engine it is or if it even runs, but just thinking if the turbo will fit and were to place it..

hey is yours a small standard go kart engine, like a KT100S or a KT100J, coz i also got a gokart from japan with a KT100S engine, and yes i dont know much about karts but learning.
