The NFL as a business has the right to deny "service" to anyone they so please. Given that Rush is a polarizing figure and has made racist statements against American Blacks, it is understandable that the NFL did not want him being a part of any of their franchises.
I agree Al Sharpton is dumbass though. Not really sure why he was even a part of this whole thing.

No, mostly all cases are not white vs black, but that is all you will hear on news. It's just the way that it is, nobody defends whites or even makes a big deal when it happens so you think it isn't common. If sharpton came running to whites defense when it happened, you would be an "equal opportunity" advocate, and maybe it would be looked at differently than "self victimization", it's real, and it's very common. I just watched two different black men go on two different news show YESTERDAY and accuse Rush of making hate full statements about "blacks".......both hosts asked for the videos and today both announced they DID not get any calls BACK! .........I listened to the reverse racists rants and it was really embarrasing!

I think Rush cares more about football than most owners. I think he would be a valuable adition to the NFL. I think Sharpton just looks for high profile things to stick his nose into to keep his own name in the news. His presence turns me off even with legit complaints because I think what he does is for his own benefit while trying to make it look like he is fighting for a cause.
